Bose on ebay selling new for $50 more, is that better deal?
For $50 always better to get the new one. Bose refurbished products are not consistent in quality. Saying based on personal experience, 1 out of 4 times had to exchange a refurb

I worked for a bose stores for 13 years (outlet and regular retail). Very few problems with factory renewed items. Warranty is identical to new. In the off chance you do have an issue, you will receive same service as if you had spent the extra $50 for NEW.
These headphones put pressure on my head causing headaches.
Otherwise the sound quality and noise canceling seem pretty good.
That was the only reason stopping me from getting qc 35. I bought a NC 700 which doesn't give me the headaches. Its not as light or compact as qc 35, but has great microphones and nice design.
Got these a couple of weeks ago. Arrived in white refurb box but headphones and all accessories appeared brand new. Cables, etc were sealed in bags. Everything has been working perfectly.

Same here. The NC700 NCM2 fit perfectly however they do not currently pair with the 2019 Shield TV.

Depends on the seller and if warranty is valid. I've never had any issues with refurbished direct from Bose.
