10% off Office Chairs from Crandall Office Furniture (with code)

I was going to buy a chair from Madison Seating. Then I heard some bad news about their processes and products. They seem too shady.

I was referred to Crandall Office Furniture instead. My Leap V2 will be an extra $100+ ($450 after tax) from here but I think it's worth it. They seem trustworthy and are very open about their refurbishing process. Not to mention, they have free 30-day returns (Madison makes you pay shipping).

They currently have a promo for 10% off office chairs. Promotion expires May 15th.

I ordered a Steelcase Amia this afternoon. I'll share my experience once I get it.

I just pulled the trigger on a Steelcase Leap V2 Office Chair. I'll probably order a second (by no later than the end of the year) if this one arrives safely and looks more or less new.

I actually ordered a Steelcase Leap V2 two weeks ago from them and the chair is looks and feels great. Much better than my previous one. They even included a youtube video in the instructions if you need to put it together.

I love mine.

My Leap V2 chair showed up yesterday. I had trouble with assembly because they weren't clear about lining up the gas cylinder on the side. Anyway, got it together and this chair is a mess. It's creaky, the right arm-rest wobbles a lot and it's killing my back. I reached out to customer service to return it.

I also bought a Leap V2 a few weeks ago from Crandall using the 10% off code. To the contrary of the poster above, I thought the instructions about the gas cylinder position were pretty clear on the provided paper instructions. The unboxing and assembly only took about 15 minutes with no tools. There's a slight creak in the reclining mechanism, but otherwise that's the only issue I've encountered. The back support is phenomenal.

I used the video instructions and the guy kind of just pops the seat on the base. So yeah, the paper instructions were clearer.

My reclining mechanism REALLY creaks, very distracting trying to work in it. YMMV.

FYI they were a little hard to get a hold of but looks like they'll process my return. Looking forward to getting this chair boxed up and out of my house.

Did you return your chair? Asking because I wonder how painful this is going to be.

I received my Amia chair yesterday. Here's my experience:
  • Took exactly a week from placing the order to delivery.
  • Box looked very damage but chair seems to be fine.
  • Minor scratches on the base.
  • No assembly instructions but it was easy to figure out.
  • No squeaking
  • Everything else look like new.
Chair feels and looks great and is definitely an upgrade from my generic office chair. Sat on it for hours and was not uncomfortable at all. Hopefully this chair lasts me for a while. Based on my experience, I will definitely order from Crandall again.

Ordered Leap V2 Sunday and received Wednesday but I am in the same state. Only complaint would be that the armrests are wobbly but idk if they're like that new.

In hindsight I would have gone for the extra foam that they offer for 20 bucks, but that's not on them.

I just barely fit in the chair width-wise at 6'3" 245lbs so test drive one if you're any bigger to make sure.

I got mine a few days ago and the packaging was great. Was easy to assemble. Made a few mistakes - forgot to put the slider covers a d got the seat out. I made a mistake by not poisoning the notch to be in the side where the height adjustment is. No squeaks or nay anomalies . The chair did not seem beaten so I am glad I got this. Spent a few hours and was good

Is there a new code for 10% off? All I see is 5% off currently running through the 25th. Was going to give a leap a try but I may wait to get 10% off.

I ordered one on the 15th and it still hasn't shipped, so I'm not too happy about that. We'll see what happens when it arrives.
