5/5/2020: Now...$100 : only after instant redemption rebate ($200) and paying 6 months of service (after 6 mts , u will get $100 virtual prepaid card).

Don't know about the rest of you but the $100 rebate does not come back to you automatically. You need to apply at https://promo.metrobyt-mobile.com/. I took me some looking around to find this URL. Metro didn't tell me and the retailer I bought my phone at said to watch out for a text message from Metro that never came.

Does black gets the switcher instant rebate, but the Gray gets the $199 - $100?

So $301 + $200 ($40 * 5 months) = $500 approx

MetroPCS is 100% crap with Intel modem and only GSM and 100% locked for 6 months. Terrible terrible deal.
