Speaking to the promotion reps from (800) 999-6389 and they only mention being on the $40 line is sufficient.

Don't know about the rest of you but the $100 rebate does not come back to you automatically. You need to apply at https://promo.metrobyt-mobile.com/. I took me some looking around to find this URL. Metro didn't tell me and the retailer I bought my phone at said to watch out for a text message from Metro that never came.

Just check in once in a while for the Visible stock. Metro could also scam you into a more expensive plan that ultimately will cost you more than the $400 MSRP and hours of arguing with customer service.
