Ppl said their online order got cancelled, so two ways to open a New Account if you are new to ATT Wireless Service
Hard pull for opening new account

1) once you placed the order online, call the e-Comm ATT number 866-267-4510 to confirm your order with them(should calling the number before/while ordering b/c of on hold time. Check porting status to correct errors. Order won't shipped until correction.
btw, ATT separates in store promo vs online promo, if you have any problems with online promo, call e-comm number for help, going to ATT corp store wont help

There are DPs confirming route 2 not workable

2)open a new account in store with one voice line, and then go home to create an ATT online account that you can manage account/plan/lines, to add more lines since this online only promo works for adding a line to NEW/EXISTING account as long as it is a BYOP voice line
DO NOT Cancel before you are approved for more lines, cancelling this line in a single-line account will also cancel your account.
after you see that at least one of your online lines are added/pending on your account, cancel the line that is opened in store, no activation fee or full refund on activation fee if cancel within 3 days of activation, cost for first month service will be prorated according to service days used. Usually no service fee if cancel within 3 days of activation, ATT have 14 days return policy, so I believe you are golden if canceling the in store line before 14 days of activation, either paying no fees or prorated fees, btw, you can try to get ALL fees waived for this cancelled line by calling ATT customer care.
Worst case would be you will pay $30 in store activation fee + prorated service charges by service days used for the ATT in store line.

800-675-8459 to check reward status after reward card submission

EDIT 4:
To make this offer works, I believe you must have an unique phone/IMEI for each line, must insert sim to phone so ATT can recognize your BYOD phone IMEI.
Do not upgrade your phone to get the ATT IPhone SE deal b/c $250 is a BYOD deal, you MAY or MAY NOT upgrade after 45 days(to receive redemption, but you must also the instructions you received to get the reward card)
I recommend that do not upgrade your phone until you actually receive the reward card.

EDIT:
Think about impact on the CB if you go route 2, maybe lower/no CB.
rk10 excludes cb for $250 reward
tcb offers $75 for new line activation, $50 for add a line, no details on exclusions/limitations
bf offers $50 for new line activation and add a line, it seems bf is a better approach to me.

EDIT 2: (your order is shipped)
ATT CS: 800.331.0500 this is the number ATT give out to customers if they have problem with order
ATT E-comm backdoor number: 866-267-4510 (every thing about online order or online promo, you can check to see if $250 reward card per account or per line or any limitations on this promo such as up to X lines per account, currently no limitations, but they may set limitations once they realize many ppl are joining ATT)
Check Reward status after submission: 800-675-8459
Check number transfer eligibility: https://www.att.com/wireless/tran...ur-number/
Porting Support: 1-888-898-7685 to initiate porting or push it through early
Check ATT porting status: https://www.att.com/port/

PS: Feel welcome if you want to add it to wiki lol if you think this is helpful

DP: One person got cancelled despite calling backorder number.
Maybe start with ordering 4 lines at most if you are new customer, then add more lines to account after you activate the lines from first order. ATT may not want to approve many lines at once to new customer.

the eComm number asks info about previous carrier, so Use your real info when filling porting info

I was on hold since 3PM CDT waiting to talk to E-com at 866-267-4510. The call got disconnected at 5:30PM CDT. Don't know if their phone system timed it out, or their working hours end at 5:30PM CDT on Sundays. Anyone else on hold got disconnected?

Haha Att is serious and makes "credit approval required" real. go to route 2 if route 1 doesn't work for you or make a 1 line online order first, after first order ships out, then call ATT general CS number to get your account number by providing order number and then create a online account to add more lines to account.

All the "signs" are telling me to give up on this deal. If my 2nd order gets cancelled tomorrow (likely), piss on AT&T. I've wasted too much time and effort on this already. It was much easier to do the Sprint and T-mo deals.

Are you new or existing customer? Which carrier's phone numbers did you use for porting in?
