From consumers' point of view, you should count as their customers once you place the order with them. However, based on lesson learned from sprint, it is likely ATT will use activation date to determine (you can see they split into two plans for lines under same order) from carrier's point of view, they start billing you only you activate the service by either you activating the sim when you are ready to use service or they activating the sim with temporary number assigned(like my case with Tmobile) ATT is doing better job here that it reserves your ATT sim with your port in number but let you decide when to start the service)

Feel bad for those who placed on/before the 14th but is not able to activate by the 14th, you can expect that you will go through the hassle of getting >2 reward cards. (Ask the person who emailed the Corp executive for email address in case you need it later) however, I tend to believe ATT will honor the previous terms for you since you ordered before term modification)

Ppl Who orders after 5/14/20, yup 2 reward cards per account.
So you mean one can still order and get credit for up to two lines?

your point makes sense just because this is ATT and what a a $$ burning fire sh.it the company is.

But I'd argue with them like hell. They should not have put the AD up on the 14th if that was the case. Physically it was not possible to activate by 14th if order was placed on 14th.

So I expect to receive the $250 card for all 5 lines.

We shall see

*btw. My 2nd 5line set shows monthly fee is $200. is this normal?

has to be order placed before 12AM, not activation.
You are correct. The rep said the order must be completed by that time. This is why I shouldn't write at night.

I believe so since the att website still showing the offer with new terms. Confirm with rep before placing to be safe.

Also, someone mind to update the wiki about expiration date of this deal? Thanks a lot

I believe ATT system will only send out 2 reward card redemption instructions for ppl who activate after the 14th. However, I believe ATT will honor the the old term for those who placed order on/before 14th but activate service later than that if they contact ATT about this, especially if ppl have proof showing confirmation from customer service rep.

Hopefully the ATT rep is right about this that ppl who order by 14th will get the reward card redemption instruction email automatically for all the lines even if they activate after the 14th, But I have no faith in ATT sending >2 reward cards automatically for those who activated after the 14th without calls from customers. But I do believe they will honor the old term for the orders placing on/before the 14th if they contact ATT about only receiving 2 redemption instruction email while they have activated more than 2 lines.

So as many of you on here, I just received a cancellation email as well on my 5 lines ordered.

The cancellation went into effect as soon as I was on the phone with the Ecomm backdoor dept number reps, which isn't a coincidence at all.

They are telling me to go to the store to "price match" the online promotion. Not sure I should proceed any more with this. I doubt I will receive anything after placing this order in store for 5 line porting on an online only promotion.

I already called a store. They won't be price matching.

After 4 cancellations my order was finally placed but now I can't activate the sim and the customer service is of no help and get the usual "Visit the Store" response. Is anyone else in the same boat, if so will they honor the promotion if I activate in the store?

This particular store seems to be saying they will honor the promotion

Not sure what I should believe or if they're just trying to get a sale. I think I should just pass on this "deal" and wait for the next one.

Did you just keep placing new orders? Did you change anything to get it approved and shipped?

How can you be so sure about they will honor the one activated before 14th? They will just say the terms is limited at 2 rewards, the one before and after 14 are the same promotion with same promotion terms now.

Especially I want to leave AT&T as soon as I get the promotion, don't have the luxury time to argue with AT&T to pay for extra monthly fee.

Emails with order info received at 10:08 PM.

How long before I receive the "your order has been canceled" message? ;--)
Well, that didn't take long. Cancel email was received at 10 this morning.

I am uncertain if I should put more effort towards this. In theory, I am still eligible for all five lines submitted.

Suggestions on what to try next will be appreciated.

I placed my order for 4 lines on 5/3/20 when the offer was one $250 GC per line. If AT&T wants to cheat me and sends only 2 GCs, I have the following items to back my case:
* A screenshot of my Order Cart showing one $250 GC per line.
* A pdf print out of the full terms of the offer, without the limitation of 2 GCs.
* A Chat transcript in which the rep said the offer was one $250 GC per line, up to 10 lines.
* Screenshot of the offer on AT&T web site, without the limitation of 2 GCs.
Attached below are the first two items.
