Need your suggestion regarding port in issue.

I submitted for two lines with CC and one number is showing as port in complete and other one is with below status. I called ECOMM backdoor number 866-267-4510 from wiki and she did manual verification with last four digit Social and conveyed that everything looks good and it will be processed in 24 hours. Is it valid statement after manual process? TIA.

Many thanks to both of you. I checked the portal and it shows 'Pending port approval'. I called ATT porting dept and she said, issue was they are not able to verify my personal identification. She completed the verification manually and updated the port in status on her system which takes min 24 hours to reflect in the system and SIM shipping. I hope I will get the SIMs within 2 to 3 days if everything goes well.

Fingers crossed since there is no end date for $250 card yet.

Even though she said give it 24 hrs to check the status. you can check att.com/port now to see if second number is confirmed by previous provider...manual port request usually is confirmed within a few minutes if all porting info is correct...if both numbers are confirmed, att will ship out the sim within 24 hrs based on dps on this thread

Your post makes me wondering if the identity issue relates to "porting number" or "lack of info/ info not matching on credit report—I tend to believe ATT pulls NationalConsumerTelecom&Utilities Exchange (NCTUE) in addition to

I used ebay Boost number. Not sure whether issue relates to porting number or lack of info. After I called port in dept, I have received below updated mail. Is it positive sign?. But no changes in porting URL and order status page.

Here are the details. We're working hard to get your order to you soon. You'll get a confirmation email as soon as it's on its way.

If the email has images of the SIMs with phone numbers next to them, then it's a positive sign. The next email should have the title "Incoming! We shipped your order xx-xxxxxxxxxxxxx".

Once you've received the SIMs and activated them:
1. Create an AT&T online account.
2. Log in, under My Wireless, select Plan Details and make sure your lines are in ONE plan instead of getting split up into multiple plans. If they got split, Chat with a rep and tell the rep to combine them back into one plans as a PLAN CHANGE and not a new order (which can screw up your promo qualification).

I am wondering if anyone ran into the same issue as I did. I did the promo back at the beginning of May. I ported over from Verizon. My number was with Verizon for about 10 years but it was ATT before that. When I talked to the reward center, they told me the number is not eligible since it was a "Win Back". Meanwhile, customer care kept telling me that the number is eligible. I am completely stuck now since their two systems don't sync at all.

Would really appreciate any suggestion.

Maybe get both departments on a 3-way call and let them duke it out.

Give your Verizon bill to att to prove to them if the reward team can receive image or email, ask the rep to specifically note your account that the troubled line is eligible for the $250 or do a 3 way call b/t you, att wireless customer care and reward team.

once a number is off ATT network for 60 days it should no longer considered a win back number...
I believe someone also experienced this problem and got the reward cards eventually

#2 Why would ATT slit 2 lines into 2 plans in 1 account. To charge extra?

Poor billing practices, or maybe they're actually "good" practices for them. When split into 2 plans, the cost goes up.

Thanks for the suggestion (and from hppham also). I actually asked for a 3-way call just now, they routed me to the cancellation department instead (reward center supervisor apparently dropped the line), LOL. I will try again next week. They are quite disorganized.
