My reward status shows its approved on 06/30/2020. is it safe to cancel the lines now ? anyone had experience / suggestion ?

My bill is due in 2 days so tryig to avoid 3rd month payment here.
The bill due date isn't important. What important is which date your current service period ends (look at the bill). If you cancel before that date then the next bill won't be generated/due. The attachment showed my reward timeline, I received the cards 7 days after they were approved. Whether you want to cancel before the cards are mailed/received is up to you. Be aware that if you cancelled the lines before receiving the cards and something goes wrong (cards get lost in the mail), don't count on getting help with it.

One more question folks: how do I know if my order is qualified to the rebate? Just placed an order online but didn't see the rebate mentioned in my order summary, not in the confirmation email. Have some self-doubt now. Frown

after 45 days only 1 of 2 phones qualified for rebate. 1 phone was coded a "win-back". took me an hour on the phone to sort this and now both rebates are showing on the rebate tracker webpage with estimated date of when they will mail the cards.

But I got it. There is nothing in the order confirmation. Get ready to fight. Peace

It is a hard pull for new customers. You can have only x Lines based on your score.

If you trust TCB and your luck, TCB is running a Double Cash Back promo this July Fourth Weekend. For AT&T, the screen shows $150 (doubled the usual $75). Be forewarned, I ordered 2 lines during the Memorial Weekend Double Cash Back promo and the tracking showed only $100 cb (instead of $300). I submitted a claim, they said they forwarded it to AT&T for investigation and it'll take 2-3 months for a decision. I'm not going to wait for that cb.

Chat rep confirmed that I can open second account with same information (name, ssn, etc.) and qualify for the BYOD promotion, but I didn't proceed just to avoid another hard credit pull.

He said the process of opening 2nd account is same as new customer, so I assumed there would be a hard credit pull.
There are allowances for shopping around - multiple pulls of same type close together in time all count as a single "hard pull."

When did you make the purchase? If today, and it's not tracked after 24 hrs, submit a claim.

They rejected my application even though I have a credit score over 800.

Maybe they found out I am not a "progressive". Well, time to look for a new deal elsewhere. I bought 4 AT&T porting numbers from eBay hoping to cash in on some deals this independence day weekend.

I placed the order on 6/22...I've already submitted a claim but I don't think I will wait that long form them to resolve it.
