Just an update to follow this up and look for suggestions. I just had a 3-way call with Jay in customer service and the reward center. After 'research', I was told that my number from 10 years ago is still a 'win-back', AND I needed to be in the unlimited plan to qualify. None of these are in the reward language and they seemed to make up this rules on the fly. I am told I can talk with the loyalty department, but their system is down now. Any suggestion to pursue further?

This reminded me why I left ATT many years ago...

If the reward has been approved (according to the reward tracker), but not mailed yet, would it be risky to get that iPhone SE upgrade promo from Walmart?

Ok, think it the other way, ATT insists that your number is winback number.... dial 611 from your ATT number.. ask to talk to a supervisor......or simply twitter with images of 3 most recent Verizon bills and ask for help that reward team declines your reward claiming it was a win back number, ask them to prove you what is the account number this number used to belong, when that account opened and when that account closed. It truly is not a win back number...Corporate companies care about their reputation over social media...

I ported out 4 lines from my acct #1 using $1 H2O SIMs bought at Best Buy. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/h2o-...Id=6421026
If you order online, there's a limit of 5 SIMs per order. I don't think there's a limit if you shop in-store.

When you activate the H2O SIM, select the Plan as shown below and you won't have to add any airtime. Just let the phone number die after 30 days. If you want to port out from H2O, then you'll need to add airtime before H2O will give you the needed info to port out.

You'll get a confirmation email from H2O of your port-in request, but you will get no notification of whether or not it was successful. Keep checking your AT&T account. If the porting was successful, you should see the line gone within 30 minutes.

I used my 4 $250 cards to buy a $1000 money order at my local Dillons (Krogers), paid 88 cents for fee. Deposited the M.O. to my checking account at the ATM on the way home. Quick and easy.
Total 88 cents for $1000 ? Can you explain the steps

Thanks

My whole ATT experience has been a nightmare. If you don't get your rebate notification after 45 days of active service, call them: 1-800-675-8459. They had to manually add my lines to the rebate. I also had issues with my 4th line. Apparently it was incorrectly classified as a Winback, which means the line was a former ATT customer who came back within 6 months. If that's the case then you have to wait 60 days before they can manually process your rebate.

I was also given this # as an escalation department for rebates: 877-258-1427.

Before you go to the store, make sure to set the PIN on each card so it can be processed as a Debit Card. This is done when you activate the $250 GCs.

I went to my Dillons (Krogers) store. I told the clerk at the C.S. counter the amount of the money order I want to buy and she added 88 cents to the total. Then I started swiping each GC and entered its PIN, until the balance due went to 88 cents. I used a $50 GC that had a few bucks left to pay the fee but you can pay with cash.

Put your name on the front of the money order as both "Pay To" and Purchaser, and sign your name. On the back, endorse it as a check, then deposit it at your bank.

Some people said their store has a limit of 4 cards used for each money order. But mine has no such limit; I used one $300 Sprint GC and eight $50 Sprint GCs to buy a $700 money order.

Luckily I won't get a chance to experience this, 4 orders and 4 cancellations... their overseas support is useless.

You seriously dodged a bullet. ATT is such a shit show. I had to spend 4-5 hours with customer service over 2 days to get all 4 lines activated. Then my account had 2 data plans for some reason, which they had to fix. All I did was port and bring over 4 devices. You would think that would be straightforward.

Their rebate team has no access to your info so I had to go back and forth with customer service. At one point, the porting department opened up a conference call with the rebate team. I've left a couple of scathing reviews on their Facebook page.

They are well on their way to becoming the next Sprint.
