My order says "In Progress" and a couple hours later changed to "Canceled"
That seems to be a new thing with AT&T. Previously, once the order status has changed to the green "In Progress", it wouldn't get cancelled. Even if there were problems with the porting, they'd hold the order to allow you to correct the problems.

I hit the same issue for my 3 numbers. But the other 2 work fine. I finally ported the 3 numbers to Visible when their BYOD deal was $100. But now it's changed to $50.

I ported 6 lines from AT&T to H2O without any problems. Did the same with 3 Sprint numbers.

/That has changed. I am up to five cancellations over four valid e-mail accounts - two actual people. Both my wife and I got the "we can't confirm this order came from you." I had an easier/faster process refinancing my mortgage than I had in all these unsuccessful attempts to take their deal. I am not inclined to say "oh, well" when one of the most recognizable brands in the world cannot competently fulfill a touted "special" offer.

The "we can't confirm it is you - go to our store" is particularly absurd when the special offer is online only. I did the special "call the ECOMM" for order number four and they told me "go to the store" which is ridiculous in response to me seeking an online-only order.

Some people ported out to NumberBarn or TextNow. I have no personal experience with those. Some people used Tracfone BYOD SIMs preloaded with $15 plan, bought for around $1 after a $15 OFF code, but that route had been shut down by Tracfone after the code was posted on SD and people abused it.

Before I knew about H2O, I ported out one Sprint line using using a SpeedTalk 30-day trial SIM preloaded with $5, bought on Ebay. The porting worked fine but they automatically enrolled me in a recurring monthly plan, and I had to contact them to cancel before the 30 days were up.

Don't do it.
It's a trap!...
Took me emails and 3 hours phone calls for months before they would even consider it.
Threats of cancellation etc.
Of it doesn't work online or through ecomms.
Let it go.

Trying to Add a line but throws an error (Uh-oh! Something went wrong.
We need to send you back to cart. Once there, select the Check out button to start the checkout process over. That should hopefully clear things up.) Any help? thanks Smilie

What do folks do after receiving their reward cards? Stay with att and hop on to the next money making deal?? I've read here that att doesn't do partial month credit, so porting out has to be timed closer to the end of the billing cycle?

I ported my phone numbers out to H2O and let them die there.

I closed my acct #1 on 6/26, ten days before the paid-for period ended. My closed account now shows a credit of $38.01. Several people here were told by reps that the credit will be sent by check (5-6 weeks?). I'll wait and see what they'll do with my credit.
