Hi guys i need any help i can get....i placed an order last week, got cancelled.

I called today 3 times, they all refused to transfer me to the credit department i placed another order today. but likely got cacelled as well. Can anyone please help?? thank you I went to the store also they said i need to select in store curbside pickup but online chat verifyu that is not an option for byod at the moment..
Welcome to AT&T's Wacky World of Order Lottery. Some will win, some will lose. Calling E-comm won't hurt, but doesn't guarantee approval. Orders are not being cancelled due to credit issues, it's their Fraud Prevention Dept's doing, and you can't talk to them. Going to a store to confirm your ID or open an account has no effect on your online orders, and only orders placed online qualify for the $250 offer.

My wife's first order on 5/1 was cancelled on 5/2. Placed the same order later on 5/2, called E-comm and it was approved on 5/3. Doesn't guarantee that subsequent re-order will be approved. Some people got their orders cancelled 3-4 times and gave up. They didn't pull credit on the re-order, or they did but the credit bureau didn't count it.

I'm finally getting ready to try placing an order. I'm going to use a number on Sprint that came from GV and currently has a LG Tribute attached to it but I will select my iphone X as the device. The iphone is on a different line in a different Sprint account. Tribute and iphone x have different sim sizes so I figure activating a Tribute and then trying to get a nano sim from ATT is just asking for trouble.

If my order gets cancelled I will use hpham_53's method of placing the order again and calling e-comm.

After all that I will still need to port out the iphone x's sprint number to H2O, the Tribute's number should have been sucked into ATT already. I assume I can use the iphone on ATT even though its also tied to a Sprint account?

Any holes in my plan?

What did your wife ask E-comm to do when she called on 5/2?

I did the actual calling. When got to a rep, I told her that I wanted to confirm my (wife's) ID and credit card info, so the order wouldn't be cancelled. The rep asked for name, SSN, credit card's billing address, then said she would make a note in the order that she confirmed the ID, the order would next go to the Order Review Dept and they would make the approval/denial decision.

My order was quick and painless. Ported one number from Sprint, another number from Google Voice. Placed my order on Wed, Approved and shipped on Thu, got them & activated on Friday. So far so good.

So I am about to 2 lines. If I use cash back portal, I have to do one and 2nd with separate transactions so both qualify?

Cash back portals give cb per line for AT&T. You can place an order with 2 lines and the cb amount should track accordingly. Be aware that Raku gives no cb for lines with the $250 offer, BF takes 3 months to become payable, and TCB takes 14-15 weeks. If you just want to stay for 2 months to get the $250 GCs then port out, you might not get the cb.

Someone else reported getting the same error with some (not all) of their numbers. Have you asked H2O for the reason ?
