I read someone said that placing order through chat could avoid cancellation, is it true? I doubt my order could pass, because lately I was denied opening bank account and credit card, believe that there might be wrong info on my credit file. I already placed an order with my wife's name, so far still in process. I have been hesitated to place an order in my name. If chatting helps, I will be great to try. Don't want a hard pull with nothing achieved.

TCP only tracked 1 cashback instead of two, I ordered two lines at the same time? Did this happen to anyone? Thanks.

What Cashback portal you guys used? I saw TCB has monthly plan for $100 and add a line-IPhone for $50, don't know how it works. RMN has $75 Cashback. Trying to find a good one

I placed two orders thru online chat on Sat, second one got canceled today, and I was told it's fine to open 2 accounts under my name by different chat representatives

It's TCB, not TCP, and their cb will track at $50/line no matter what "special/enhanced" rate they advertise. You'll have to file a claim and wait 2-3 months for them to (hopefully) honor the special/enhanced rate.

Also, I hope you're aware that there's a limit of two ATT $250 GCs per account.
I saw TBC says monthly plan for $100 and add-a-line-IPhone for $50, thought 100+50 for 2 lines. What Cashback portal you recommend

No. Chat was last option but there is no guarantee for order success. If you are thinking reg credit hit, I would suggest hold on now and try with your wife's social only.

Are all you guys submitting orders even though att.com is not secure for portions of the order entry? Maybe I should close my eyes and just do it?
I think you have good reasons to be concerned that some of the AT&T pages in the ordering process are not secured.

Today I received an email that's supposed to be from AT&T but it went straight to my Spam mailbox. Basically, it was saying that AT&T will be upgrading their system (which is true) and my devices with these two phone numbers are not compatible and need to be upgraded. The language of the email is not quite "business like", the sending email address is suspicious, and when I hovered the mouse over some of the "click here" points in the email they showed suspicious links. So I'm pretty sure it's a phishing email, especially since I already closed the account that had those two lines.

Those two phones numbers and my email address were together only in my order with AT&T, or my AT&T account. I'd think my AT&T account should have been harder to hacked into than the order site or the "order shipped" email from AT&T.

Be careful folks.

If you plan to stay just 2 months to get the $250 GCs and port out, then forget the cb because TCB takes 15 weeks and BF takes 3 months to pay out.

If you plan to stay longer, then it's a wash between TCB and BF (Raku doesn't offer cb for lines with the $250 offer). BF has a rate of $50/line. TCB shows an "Improved Offer" of $100/line, but believe me they will track at only $50/line. Like I mentioned before, I placed the order for my acct#2 on 5/22 when they were running the Memorial Weekend Double Cash promo of $150/line and they still only track $100 for my order with 2 lines. See attachments.

Welcome to the club! After five cancellations I stopped trying...

Dan
With some luck and a few days since my last try, I placed an order yesterday and today checked my email and could not believe it "Incoming! We shipped your order 23-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" via FED-EX. This was my 5th order.

Today I also received a letter from AT&T about them using a their own Credit Score 01-999 where I was on their low 900s from previous canceled order. Not sure if anybody else that got canceled received this letter?

Back in May, one other person reported receiving such letter in their mail. I think the system they use base the score on your history with utilities and telecom companies. AT&T either owns that system or is a major partner. We were speculating that people with history of too many cell phone accounts opened/closed probably have a low score.

Seems like an order that's approved moved through their system quickly. Member comfortably-numb submitted order on Day 1, it was shipped on Day 2, delivered on Day 3. An order that gets dragged out probably will be cancelled. The thing is...if an order was rejected due to suspicious ID or poor score, why does it get approved after repeated tries?

Finally got my 5th order approved, the only different thing I did this time was not use a CB site, but I don't believe that was the reason for previous 4x denial. So i just shredded that letter.

Thanks. Will wait and see if wife's order go through, then decide if I will try my luck. I am scared. LOL.
