So the end profit #200 after 3 months for 2 lines.
If you order through BF you will get enough ca$h back to cover month number three so it is more like pay ATT 200 and get back 500 per each account with two lines.

I am in touch with higher ups at the company to point out the undue burden on customers with all this calling and tracking and appearing - told them it is equivalent to bait and switch since this is an online offer and they are not capable of fulfilling online. I will see if I ever find a consistent answer. Many are flailing around at too low a level. My conversations are at way too high a level. We need them to have the left and right hand start talking to one another rather than having all these crazy one-off fixes.

Unless you actually use the service, why pay $100 for the 3rd month to hopefully get $100 back from BF?
For someone like me who just wants to sign up to do the deal then port out, paying for 2 months is all that's needed. If you port out early enough, you'll also get a partial refund. I'm getting $32 back for my acct #2 with 2 lines, ported out 10 days before the billing period ended.

Like I said in a previous post - you seem to be having more fortunate experiences than most - perhaps because you decide on deals quickly and join early. The recent refusals to give the rebate info before 60 days appear to be a shift to force the purchase of a third month of service which can be defrayed if CB is in place in advance of purchase.

This is a bit of work and I want to clear at least $300 per account, not just two hundred and change.

What did you guys tell the Rewards site chat rep to get the card process started before 45 days? I tried yesterday (I'm at 40 days) and they said they couldn't do it before 60 days??
I didn't have to say anything special. I chatted on the 40th day (acct #1) and 37th day (acct #2) and the reps apologized for the rewards not being submitted yet and proceeded to submitted them. See transcript below.

They COULD have changed tactics and are making it more difficult because people were porting out before 60 days. But remind them that the terms on the web site as of today 7/28/20 still say "Instructions for redemption after 45 days". Try again after 45 days and you'll have a stronger argument on your side.

What is the current order status?
order status is still 'in progress"
however, att.com/port shows both numbers with status = LP007.
which means ATT has not yet attempted to validate port status. Most likely order will get cancelled in due course.

Which rep submitted your reward and which rep refused to? I chatted with Julie and Tina and they both submitted my rewards at 40th day or earlier. If I'm not mistaken, someone here chatted with a rep with a Hispanic name and he refused to submit it before 60 days.

Edited: found that post, #2372. The rep's name was Carlos.

Received my first bill without the autopay or corporate discounts. A bit frustrating. I called in to customer service but they wouldn't budge. Anyone have luck getting a credit for this?

Ok, for me all the orders that were cancelled went to status of 'Pending Port Approval' immediately with LP007 error on the porting site. While the 'in progress' was confirmed so there is some hope.

Same thing here. Got my 1st bill this morning and the autopay wasn't applied. Contacted Chat and the rep said the autopay will be applied on the 2nd bill, along with the autopay credit that should've been applied to the 1st bill. See transcript below:

Andres : I was cheking in your account and I was able to confirm the enrollment date. The Autopay and Paperless discount starts to apply within 1-3 billing cycles since the enrollment was done. But no worries at all, all the discount that were not applied on your account during this time will be automatically refunded once the discounts start.
Andres : Let me know if I am being clear enough.
Me : So the $20 autopay credit will be applied to the 2nd bill and also retroactively to the 1st bill?
Andres : You are right.
Andres : It can takes within 1-3 billing cycles, so once the credits applied, the $20 of each month that were not applied since the enrollment will be refunded.

Hey, so how much around should the first bill actually be for 2 lines on the 3gb shared data plan? They messed up and put me on two plans one line each rather than one plan with two lines like other people are talking about and trying to charge me $214. They have offered me a $60 bill credit but I want to make sure that is enough, thanks. Also what is the usual amount if the first month is higher?

A Shared 3GB Plan with 2 lines is $80 (after $20 autopay discount) + about $20 (25%) for taxes and fees. Sometimes the first bill is "irregular" because it includes more than one month (they try to synch the billing period to their schedule), or because they didn't apply the autopay credit yet.

The attachment below shows the 1st bill of my acct #2. The first part is a partial month (27 days) without autopay credit, the second part is a full month with autopay credit.

If you look at your pdf bill you should be able to figure out the numbers. If not, post a screenshot and I'll try to help figure it out.

Thanks, they are now charging me $148 for a month and 20 days essentially so I believe we are good. I appreciate the info. Crazy they get away with charging more in taxes and fees than other carriers charge altogether. I guess something needs to subsidize these promos though. I just feel sorry for all the normies being ripped off like this on the regular and thinking it's normal rather than getting paid to deal with these awful giant corporations.

I don't understand how AT&T gets away with charging more for taxes than other carriers do. The fees can vary from one carrier to another depending on how they want to pad their pockets, but taxes should be the same percentage for all carriers for the same billing address.
