I literally bought the same router on amazon a few hours ago for a gift to a neighbor as theirs was very old and slow 10+ years old. Cancelled that and saved me $15. Thanks Repped. I hope these refurbs work well!
Oh also anyone else considering this, it lacks a USB port in the back.
Was interested as it looks like a good router but it seems to only be a savings of $15 and makes the warranty go from a standard year to only 30 days with this refurb
I've had this router for quite some time and I have never had any issues with it. I'm very happy with it.
Quick question to anyone who has it or might now - If I bought another one, would I be able to use it to extend wifi range (recently moved to a bigger house)? And would the speed be decent?

Yes, I thought I read it has a mode setting for "repeater"
What happened to those Refurb Tmobile Asus 1900 ones? they use to come on so often and haven't seen them anymore. Only other deals now are $300 routers for people who live in mansions

Would it be a wireless repeater? Or do I need to connect it via Ethernet?
Wireless would be bridge mode and it does support it. Did a quick google search
I bought one a few weeks ago at Walmart for $40... I might buy another then to use as bridge mode , so my whole house would have coverage
