I've had this since Black Friday 2018, picked it up for $125 then. It definitely has its issues. Every so often power just cuts out on it. Turn it back on and you're back in business, but still. Also more recently I've been having issues with audio delays, audio is out of sync with the source. Switch inputs and back and yet again you're back in business. Google it and you'll see others having this issue too.
That being said, I haven't gotten rid of it because overall for the price it does a lot. The ARC is awesome, I never have to deal with switching inputs anymore. I got a deal on a Google Home for 99 cents at one point so I now use it to change the volume on it, which is my sound for pretty much everything in the living room. Occasionally I'll use the bluetooth for a quick way to play some music from my phone too.
So coming from a user of a fairly long duration, it definitely has problems, but if you get it cheap and don't mind the possibility of some nuisances, this is a good option for an easy and cheap 5.1 setup.
I see what you did there.

I have this and hate it..
It randomly turns off (no I don't have power savings mode on)
The subwoofer will randomly disconnect.
After almost a year the sub crackles.
The sound and picture won't be in sync at times also.
On Xbox the sound always lags/delayed behind the game.
Put your money towards something that won't drive you crazy like this crap system.
Have had this for a year or so. Great speakers for the price. If your not piecing together a high end system and / or don't care about having Atmos. This set is great

Yeah and can't replace pieces if they fail either. My sub broke and need to buy a whole new system cause you can't sync just a new sub.
