Good deal price-wise, I only need to add a few chlorine tabs every now and then to my pool, no other chemicals since doing the borax treatment a few years ago. Pre-borax, algae every season, post borax, no sign of algae ever.

What's the borax treatment? I've heard of people adding it to balance ph but I thought you did that consistently throughout the season.

Good to know but I don't store my chlorine tablets outside. Also, reviews claim these tablets are also individually wrapped.

You could but you may run the risk of prematurely wearing out the toilet flapper seal and the fill valve.
