Some of the best deals I found in here were from the SB 4000 line. They have new units in black oak for $1099, and Piano Gloss Black for $1199. This is less expensive than some of the outlet specials that contain blemishes which $1399.

SB 4000 Piano Gloss https://www.svsound.com/products/...oss-outlet OOS
SB 4000 Black Oak https://www.svsound.com/products/...ash-outlet OOS
PB 1000 https://www.svsound.com/products/...0-outlet-1 OOS
SB 1000 https://www.svsound.com/products/...h-outlet-1

There are plenty of other specials as well, but these were some of the best I thought

if you want duals "GODUAL20" will take another 5% off a pair..
I'm scared to know what a 3000 or 4000 sounds like if you consider a 2000 "nothing powerful". I have a single PB-2000 in my basement theater and it can certainly startle you when it really kicks in, I love it!
This is a stimulus check deal. Going to have to stimulate the economy on this one.

You may want to add pb-1000 and sb-1000 at $399 each since those are the cheaper options that people are looking for and not every one has the spare cash for the higher end right now.

Added, I was looking at the discount in terms of savings, and I believe the 4000 line offered the best discount. The PB 12 NSD probably had the most discount percentage wise, but I believe the original price is inflated for what it is, when you can get a superior sub from them at nearly the same price ie PB-2000.

PB12-NSD's MSRP may be inflated but I definitely think it is worth the money compared to the PB2000 if your room isn't too large. I'm actually thinking about grabbing a SB12-NSD...

SB-4000, Monilith 15, Rhythmik or HSU? Currently have a Monolith 10. But that isnt as pronounced with my RP-8000F towers that also have 8inch woofers.

Yeah I purchased the PB12-NSD back in 2014 for $600 from a Presidents Day Sale so price does seem inflated. At least they keep their value

I wish they still had the standard PB-2000 and not just the Pro. I got a new PB-2000 last year for $640, don't think I'm going to find that again, especially with the Pro line.

EDIT: Looks like they have some PB-2000s in the outlet for $650, still more than I paid for new, but might be the best route to find a matching sub.

What are you using your system for? If you're doing lots of movies, I wouldn't recommend the SB-4000 or any sealed sub - you'll want ported. It's an opinion and others may vary, but HSU is by far the best value for subs out there...their stuff is phenomenal.

Anyone already gone from an SB-2000 to a SB-4000 care to comment? Is it worth it? Quite a bit more coin and the SB-2000 really does rock the house, but still..... Upgrayedd gon git his money.

I'm torn between a PB1000 for $399 vs PB-2000 pro for $799...

Thank you. I use my system for both music and movies equally so want something that is good at both. Was strongly considering pulling the trigger on the monolith 15 as I'm so impressed by the clarity of the monolith 10. Since I have moved my setup from my 13x12 bedroom to my basement I need more subwoofer output and something to give me that chest thump. I simply dont hear the monolith 10 that much alongside my new RP8000s that I just got.

I havent heard a good demo for HSU yet but that seems to be the consensus from most forums that the VTF-3 is the best bang for your buck.
