I bought an x5 earlier in the month when they were on sale for like 270 and free extension. Considering returning as the cleanup process takes way too long to make it worth my effort to even use it for the kind of jobs I have around the house. I wish I had something like this.
Clean up process is pretty much the same with this one. I haven't seen any time saving with clean-up. The only plus here is that you won't waste as much paint since there's no 25' hose to feed through.

Anyone know about how long this sprays before running out of paint? Would this be a good purchase to paint an entire house indoors? Or would I be constantly refilling?
You're going to be refilling often. Depending on the size of the wall you'll probably want to refill after each wall. Refilling is easy though, just unscrew the cup, pour in more paint, screw it back on, squeeze the cup to purge the air out of the bleeder and you're ready to go. You'll want to make sure you refill before it runs out of paint too. When it runs out it will "spatter" paint on the wall in larger droplets.

This is an amazing deal and a no brainer at this price. It makes painting so quick. It is more of a hassle to prep and tape off for interior painting because its so quick to paint a perfect finish. You would spend about 50 mins preparing and 5 mins painting and another 15 to clean up for interior walls. I've used this for painting cabinets and they look flawless. It's really easy to clean but its imperative you clean the nozzles before the paint dries.

We bought the corded TrueCoat 360 DSP Airless Paint Sprayer for $215 a couple months ago. We have used it for exterior home brick and stucco and also just last weekend sprayed (newly purchased) baseboards and a full interior brick wall. This is a great tool. I would definitely buy it again, if we didn't already have the new one. You do have to refill often, but so much better than our hose in can sprayer. Painting isn't my favorite home task, but this sure beats rolling our textured surfaces. We did get some dripping on our flat panel door application but probably due to poor prep and over spray (white on white difficult to see the coverage).

I have some projects coming up so I grabbed it. Too bad I cant match the local menards 11% off for shipped items or I would be even more happy. Hopefully it doesn't get cancelled.
Thanks OP. I wonder if another store has it for even less?

Can this be used to paint a deck or fence?

i picked 30047 and N L.

It puts it in the cart as the 369 price. but when I do ship to home and click check out...It ups the price to +$500.
I tried via pay pal as well. Pay pal shows $369 .. but the redirect back to home depot........ups the price again. Frown

Any advice?

Able to replicate, thanks OP.

I've got an x5 sprayer that's been excellent. They aren't that bad to clean.. I just dread cleaning anything paint related. Brushes, rollers, sprayers... You essentially just run water through it until it's cleared out. Not difficult

Is it true you are supposed to back roll sprayed paint? So, from a time saving perspective you are technically just saving the time of rolling the paint on?

I didn't back roll and still got excellent results. I'm just a diy'r though, no pro

Primed and painted a 1,000sqft basement. Didnt have to tape much off since I was finishing the basement and the drywall was fresh. I'd say walls and ceiling were all primed within 30 min to an hour. then painted the ceiling a few days later which was 15-20 min. finished off with the walls which took me a little longer.. maybe 2 hours, because I was careful near the ceiling and used a metal paint guard to block the spray from hitting the ceiling.

clean up for the x5 took about 15-20 min each time.

I have the VSP corded version. That one is "ok" but the finish looks like it has a fine sand finish.

Hopefully this one is better since it has more tip options.

Pain in the rear to fully clean/flush these out. But, now I won't have to lug around a 50ft cord or trip over it while spraying.

Man I wish this one was the TC Pro Plus version. Think I'll just hold onto it for now and hope a sale goes for the Plus.

The vsp is a toy compared to this. You can achieve professional level results with a 310 tip on cabinets if you're shooting advance or scuff-x.

There's no way to reclaim paint in hose when done? Are there shorter hoses available than 25'?
