Store price is $50. I wonder if the instant rebate will be available in store as well. If it did, that'd have been a steal I think.

My guess is that the in-store price is now $35.

I paid $10 for the model MGK3060 on Amazon during Black Friday. It's basically the same design. I had medium length hair and my hair kept clogging up the attachment when I shaved my head. I don't recommend using it to shave your head.
Braun MGK3060 8-in-1 Trimmer and Braun MGK7221 10-in-1 Trimmer are different products (see below). They may look the same, but the MGK7221 has a significantly more powerful battery which would explain the higher cost.

Braun MGK3060 8-in-1 Trimmer
Lifetime lasting power - 60 minutes of precision trimming from an 8 hour charge

Braun MGK7221 10-in-1 Trimmer
Long Lasting Lithium-Ion battery: 100 minutes of trimming. Full recharge in 1 hour. 5 minute quick charge for 1 trim.

after having a lot of store brand names and finally purchasing a Wahl Professional model I can say it is sooooo much better using a "barber grade" clippers than the lower end. It just cuts so much nicer. it never clogs and never gets stuck in a thick head of hair. also very accurate to do lines, it was so hard to do mohawks and mullets now I can do them very easy. I even started doing fades recently. I got the Wahl Pro basic for $44 and I will never switch back, its hard to describe since I am not a barber but I have been cutting my own hair for a while (my kids and my own during the summer) and there is just no comparison.

Was the one you got from Costco, or somewhere else?

Correct, but are they the same design wise (besides battery and extra attachments)?

My 3060 has been charged one time since I bought it months ago. Still working fine.

Is this better than the wahls one from costco? I understand Wahls is out of stock at the moment but I was thinking it is corded so I wouldn't need to worry about battery life.

I have both Wahls wired and Braun wireless.
Wahls is way more powerful, wireless always need charge battery before use and quite weak.
