This is a great deal. This is the intermediate Monarkh model at a bottom model bolt on neck Chinese price.
Clicks off some better quality boxes, set neck, rosewood board, flame top and bindings, made in Indonesia, and electronics that don't beg to be pulled. A lot of good basic guitar for $300. I'm popping for one just to try it out for a while. Should hold its $300 cost for some time.

Great deal on a very good 6 string. Friend bought one a few weeks back and can't stop bragging about it. I would pull the trigger but own way too many guitars now!

Too many, me too. But I wasn't smart enough to have that stop me.

That was one factor as to why I went ahead. Should never be worth less what it cost.

anyone know what these high output pickups are suitable for (other than metal i'm assuming)?

Nice looking guitar. I've got three and still can't play but this is tempting. Anyone have this and can comment on the action? Any deal guitar I've ever seen seems to need major adjustments

That's just the nature of wood. It changes based on the environment. Learn to do your own setups. It doesn't take long, is easy work, and makes your guitars much more playable. Do it string change, along with polishing the frets and a general cleaning.
