Don't think these are worth $200 more than those ideapads with the exact same specs.

Finally, a motherboard with upgradeable RAM. 2 SODIMM slots for up to 32GB RAM. Add another 8GB in the open slot to get 16GB in dual channel. Along with the 2-in-1 touchscreen, this feels like a better deal to me than the Lenovo deals.

Even the Lenovo 2 in 1s are over 80 cheaper with same specs. Over 100 from the right seller.

Are you sure this 14 chassis have 2 slot instead of soldering one? I am on the fence.

I've had bad luck with Lenovo 2 in 1s.

I have never liked lenovo track pads and keyboards. They feel cheap and garbage. Basically use a separate keyboard and mouse but as a laptop what's the point. But I don't know what the trackpad or keyboard is like on the dell 2 in 1

Well here's the difference between these and the Lenovo.

A) build quality. Dell 7000 2 in 1 has been recognized as a very good 2 in 1. Flex not as much.
B) Ram is NOT soldered. Thank God. Finally I can now upgrade the RAM. If you get the 16 gb flex that might be enough but the ability to upgrade to up to 32 gb (while the Lenovo will be stuck with whatever it has) is great
3) DELL has WiFi 6 and BT 5 while Lenovo has WiFi 5 and BT 4.2
4) for me personally this is the most important: the USB c on this has DP (however I'm not sure which DP, seems to be 1.2 which should be enough although it's not as good as the HP that has dp 1.4 and HDMI 2.0). You'll be stuck with only 1 extra monitor (unless you wanna go with USB graphics which from my experience sucks and causes issues). With HDMI and DP you'll be able to pair up more than enough monitors.

If none of these things are that important to you then the Lenovo is the better deal at $100-160 cheaper. However they are very important for me.

Also you might be able to get a nice coupon from Dell if you're a student and pair that with Rakuten it would reduce costs significantly.

I have a Dell Inspiron 7559. It's an old gaming laptop but from my experience that I still have it the keyboard is really nice. There is NO keyboard flex at all. I like the precision trackpad as well. My only complain is that the left clip gets stuck but it was like that when I got it (I bought it as Dell outlet new). I have used my friends Dell 2 in 1 (I don't know if it was a 5000 or 7000 and same deal great trackpad and keyboard. I think this will be good.

Scroll down to the Memory section and you'll see it's listed with 2 DIMM slots.

Looks like "special order" means out-of-stock.
