Looks pretty nice but man that's expensive. Would need 2 also for small home. I also figure external large antenna would cover more than internal flat antenna. Love the touchscreen and data from ubiquiti tho

I have one that covers my entire 1700 sq ft home with it being down stairs, 5ghz , and full strength on bars. At first i was having issues with it getting gig speeds but that got fixed in one of the updates. Now I am having issues getting anything faster, wirelessly, then 400mbps.(they told me I should be getting higher than 700+)

This router is supposed to have a MUCH better coverage than AmpliFi Instant model with 2000 sq ft range. The Alien with the mesh extension is supposed to cover about 20000 Sqft! So I am assuming unless you have a very large home with over 4000 sq ft area, just this router should suffice.

I had similar issues with another wifi router...First i reset the modem and then reset wireless router and then set it up. Now i get close to 900 mbps (have a gigabit package)

touchscreen from ubiquiti? what do you have?

get a mesh network. skip these "super long range" single units.

Around 850 Mbps and that's within 10 feet, after 10 feet this drops sharply and at 40 ft and out loses more than half which is a huge drop compared to other Wifi 6 routers.

More importantly no 160MHz support and no dedicated backhaul.

Last I checked the VPN teleport was only for mobile devices, not computers, did this change?

Confirmed Mobile only still! Usefulness very limited and they even tried to charge for that at one point...
