I also opted for a CPS 3 Year Warranty for TV's Valued Under $1000 worth $88.99.
The lowest price I've seen it go for Memorial Day weekend was $1,047.90 from a non-authorized dealer on ebay.

I just made the same decision between the two in the 75" (both open box at BB and within a $100 of each other). I went with the Q70 because of the higher contrast, black frame insertion, and variable refresh rate. Its a amazing picture but i didn't see the Sony as i ordered online and did curbside pickup. Got it for $1149.
Last week I bought the Samsung Q65R for $ 799. Great reviews. Added wall mount installation and 5 year warranty. Already had the wall mount.
The installers brought the Samsung Q 65 T instead. Said my model was misplaced. Said the Q 65T was a 2020, while the 65 R was a 2019. Said free upgrade. The TV has an excellent picture but I went online to compare the specs. The 2020 Q 65 T is only 60 hz. I think the Q 65R was 240. Not a gamer. Wide angle viewing is decent.
Price wise, the 2020 Q 65T is list $ 999. Sale price $ 949. Just $ 50 off.
The Q 65R is selling for just over $ 1000 at most places, though I only paid $ 799.
What should I do? Since I paid for premium install, they would remove it.
The TV has a great picture. I use my Sonos Playbar for sound. The Tizen OS is great. Cool remote after some learning.
I would have to move my very heavy 6 ft. long entertainment cabinet, with fireplace insert, over carpet, a second time. A struggle for me. 75 years old today.
Should I take the easy way out and just keep it ?
thanks ahead of time

I also noticed the Q 60 T only has 3 HDMI vs 4 on the one I ordered.
This doesn't seem like a big deal, but I had an HDMI go on an older Vizio, and the entire board had to be replaced. That's why I ordered a TV with 4 HDMI. Three can be dicey.
