I wouldn't recommend this. I have 3 of these, was excited to see I don't need to have multiple keys and could control it with my smartthings hub. However, these things are faulty. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. One of my locks eats up battery like crazy, every couple of months I am replacing them. I have a Yale lock that is so good and is 3 times the price of this, it works just fine. Always accurate status and have only changed the battery once since 2016. I would suggest to save your money

Btw if some wants in they can get in, a lock or no lock, windows are much easier targets.

Maybe not a question for this thread but I sm buying a house that comes with an older version of this lock(one with raised num pad) Are these supposed to be rekeyed or should I replace with this lock here?

I have Ring security - will this lock integrate like my kwiksets? It's confusing to understand how Amazon Key impacts this. Do I need an Amazon cloud cam, Amazon Key enabled, to connect it to my Ring? That's what I think I'm seeing.
