10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

Just installed the 1000 plan for $49.99 plus $10 equipment fee and a $100 cash card. I also got an extra $100 cash card with code SAVEMORE. Didnt expect HBOMax will be free, a good deal I would say.

You have to use their modem/router combo they assign you. You can then change the settings to pass through to a better router (but you cannot use a 3rd party modem any way you cut it).

Excellent! Just got off customer service call and they switched me from $99.99 to $49.99. Even better was my upcoming bill was set to charge on the 30th but they prorated $10 for the next 15 days so my bill is now due on the 10th instead at $60 and then subsequently for 12 months at $49.99.

I have no other fees on my plan, its $70 exactly. They installed the fiber to Cat5 equipment on the side of the house and the AT&T 5286AC modem/gateway inside my house.

For me it was $70 plan exactly, no other fees. Then $20 off, so $50 per month for 1Gb internet with HBOMax.
