10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

EdgerouterX can't handle the bandwidth with any IPS or IDS turned on. I wouldn't think over 300mbit with those services active
Yeah, I wasn't going to go down the rabbit hole of finagling something here or there as I knew the hardware wasn't up to the task even though I don't think those services were active.

Only 50 mbs in my area. Interestingly, that seems to be the exact offer from other internet provider. I should note that there are only TWO providers in my area. This is such a racket.

ATT ++++ Broadcasting Fees, plus rental, plus more fees and higher fees every additional month. Don't do it, you'll regret it.

I called them last week. They upgraded me for free from a 100 MBs to 1 GB. I only pay $85 for TV and Internet so maybe try to convince the rep your speeds are to slow.

I'm not sure if rollout is slow, but I can confirm I also had to transfer to loyalty to honor the advertised promotion. Billing department for some reason is not seeing my email/inbox offer of $49.99.

Same issue here. Tried multiple times and no luck.
Try the My ATT app. This worked for me.

My bill is 49.99. There are no extra fees and I don't pay a box rental. They specifically bragged about no box rental when they started offering fiber in our area. This special $20 discount for one year has actually been on their site for about three months. It's the only ATT service I can't complain about. The fiber is blazing fast. Downloads average is 650 Mbps and uploads are around 800 Mbps.

It's the same joke where I am. AT&T's intertubes must be clogged in our areas.

I have att internet 1000 but it says I am not eligible for hbo max when logging in and selecting att as my provider.
Did you first login to your AT&T management portal and add HBO Max to your account? It is a necessary first-step to integrate your login credentials to the HBO Max service, even though it is a free add-on.

Fail! Only 75 Mbps available and $10 rental fee. What a joke.
Same for me... Same max of 75, still have to pay the $50/mo. and apparently even the $10 rental fee (maybe waived with own equipment, since it doesn't use fiber?)

If they had it here even the $70 is a good price, though, as I am paying $60 for xfinity on a DEAL and for 250 per second.

I'm an existing ATT 1000 customer. Been paying ~$90/month. I called ATT Loyalty Dept, and the rep hooked me up with the deal right away. $49/mo for a year, $69/mo after that. Free HBO Max for a year. Still for ATT 1000

I also preordered HBO Max before all this. Had to cancel that since ATT couldn't stack it. Different billing. Preorder is from me, and ATT promo is from ATT obviously.

No complaints though. Saved $40/mo on internet, $11.99/mo on HBO Max for a year. Also saved $20/mo after a year anyway. Pretty slick deal. Thanks all!

Apparently I'm in the last month of a $30 discount to get my current $70 price (all in price). A year ago it was not presented to me as a 12 month deal (looking for my hardcopy). Am I SOL on changing anything???
