10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

I would call to double check but they told me they don't prorate. Hate them so much.

So, if you subscribe to their fiber then anyone who does gets HBO max yeah? I've had fiber for a while but I'm sure if it's just for new subs etc. Can anyone verify ?

I've had fiber for a couple of years or more. I logged in today, and the hbo Max for free link was in the dashboard. I went ahead and called the loyalty department to see if i could get the special price for the internet service as well, and they obliged

This is Gigabit only in name. The max you get is 370ish download and 400 upload. Even with a wired cable, the max I get is only around this. The technician did acknowledge this issue. They will run speed test on the ONT box to show 940Mbps, but a wired cable from their own router will bring it down to 400 Mbps. Still plenty of bandwidth for my usage but something to remember. If anyone has any ideas on overcoming this, I am all ears!

Wow I really want this deal. This is very cheap deal man; but too bad there is no fiber internet exists on my area. Currently I paid $50 for cable internet only 200Mbps from Spectrum. This deal is only $50 for 1Gbps internet Wow. I wish my area gets fiber upgrade soon.

There is nothing you can do. It all depends on AT&T when they upgrade your area to fiber. You might go with Cable internet and you can get like 200Mbps.
