Talk about a ripoff - you get more speed than that with a $10/month mobile carrier.
ISPs in the US are a scam, protected by the govt and FCC. No competition, no customer service, terrible speeds, data caps, all kinds of fees, no net neutrality - the US has pretty much the worst Internet and mobile in the world, and most Americans happily pay exorbitant fees for shitty service because they are ignorant and also arrogant, and will never vote for change.

My tech cut my landline wire and removed it from the pole lol. Now i have no phone for a few days as they need to come back out to run a wire from pole.

He realized what I was telling him I was going to do, (keystone fiber jack>patch fiber cable>ontbox), a few moments later he came over from this truck to me and handed me a fiber keystone, and fiber patch cable and told me here brother. I'm happy haha

I also got that free Beta Osprey Box, glad I didn't have to pay for it, it's slower then my other devices. I'm streaming constantly and noticed increasing buffers but some of that is expected with all the pandemic traffic. I noticed Locast.org went down last night for a bit, that is a first in several months that I've been with them. Our infrastructure is maxing out with homeschooling coming up.
