I was told for life as long as I keep the 1 Gbps Internet. I ordered a few months ago and have been using HBO Max ever since. I guess I'll find out in about 8-9 months if they were lying or not.

Have you had this At&T Fiber service before? I have not and I believe these offer is for new customers. If you have not had the service most of the time a tech needs to be sent to make sure fiber is in place and wiring is run from hub to your home etc. You may want to reach out to them.

Signed up on 9/21, got it installed on 9/22. Got my first $100 reward in my email today.

I had a total of $225 in rewards in my cart while checking out. Anyone know when to expect the others? Just curious.

I used BF cashback site, and it says I should be getting $130 in cashback, but we'll see. It was only suppose to be $65 for ATT Internet, but fingers are crossed as that is only what I signed up for.

Hi Peepz,

I called ATT and the person I spoke to said that he would be able to get me 1TB + HBO Max for $59.99 and that the price would not go up after 12 months - it would be what I would pay moving forward.

I'm not sure if I believe him. I currently have:
Internet 300 (limited to 1TB) for $65.00 that includes $35 discount grandfathered in, so I'm afraid to lose it if this person is not accurate.

Have any of you gotten a similar offer from retentions if you are an EXISTING customer from DirecTV / Fiber bundle days?

I place order and it change to 100 plan because they do not have fiber in my area. Got the same email.
Tech showed up and his paperwork says nothing about the self install but my order does self install? What gives.
Call ATT and they said it has to be professional install and system is wrong. He said he will CR $99 fee but not sure what is going on?
Anyone in same situation?

Anyone been able to get rid of the equipment fee? When I signed up they told me they'd waive it. Of course, first bill came in and I was charged $10 for their router. When I talked to them they said it's required and cannot be waived... so they lied to get me to sign up. They gave me $10 off for the next few months but I'll probably cancel after that promo ends.

Got mine installed yesterday. Doing some troubleshooting and browsing, finding I get more like 200-500 Mbps Down 200-500 Up, when running various speed test using local servers and testing. Told the installer this when testing after install. He had me use the Smart home At&T and it magically shows around 900-1000 up and down every time. Personally think the whole 1gig advertising is scam. I know there are lot of variables to the speed test but I should see closer to 1gig I would think. I've yet to receive such speeds form any device connected via network cable directly to the At&T provided router. On the up side though my Spectrum 200/10 plan cost the same and the fiber is faster. In loading websites, watching netflix etc don't notice any difference though so real world application of these speeds is yet to be seen for me. It was really pain going through this BGW320 router to disable all the firewall, enable pass through etc to just connect it to my existing Unifi network.
Anyone know when we should start seeing the gift cards come? terms say you fill out a form and it comes via US Mail.

For some odd reason it let me choose the virtual card reward for the first $100 reward, but kept giving me an error for virtual card selection for the last two. I was forced into accepting the physical cards being mailed (3-4 week delivery).

Can't speak to your gift cards, but I've had the att gigabit service at my house several times over the past 5 years and it has always provided roughly 900mbit/sec up and down when connected via ethernet to my router. Wireless speeds have been more like high 300mbit to low 400mbit, likely limited by my hardware though. I have used multiple testing sites like OOKLA, speedtest.net, even the comcast speed test site. similar results. Running over the VPN also drops total speed to roughly 300mbit/second for me, even when wired, but that's the VPN's fault, and not att. hope you get your rebates soon!

I was having issues getting the full speeds too, but after a few network adjustments and different cables and updated drivers, my hardwired PC to switch to router to att modem/router was getting 800 down and up, where as the att modem speed test was getting 910/930..

I suspect the speed test from the the att equipment goes direct to the att servers so the speeds are higher than other speed test services. in all, the speeds aren't a scam. check the paths along your network and NIC.
