https://ark.intel.com/content/www...0-ghz.html

Quick FYI, even though these motherboards support overclocking, you CANNOT overclock this chipset. You need to purchase the i7-10700K (with integrated graphics) or 10700KF (no integrated graphics) to overclock.

Customer price and retail price are different. Customer price is if you're a system integrator buying trays of 1000 or more CPUs to build and sell systems

Rumor is that ASRock is looking to enable non-k overclocking on 10th Gen non-k chips. Getting this motherboard with an early BIOS revision would seem like a good way increase your chances of getting that as a potential bonus: https://www.pcgamer.com/asrock-fi...lake-cpus/

Intel won't allow that companies have tried it before and Intel made them stop.

That's why I suggested an early board/BIOS is there best bet if you want to do it. Skylake was the last time board manufacturers did something similar, and while Intel made them stop, they can't take it away from people who avoid the updates that disable it. I still have my z170 ASRock board with a non-k OC BIOS running an i5 6400 at 4.5ghz.

Because currently I have i3 that is pretty much enough for me and don't want to a buy new mobo.

It's overpriced atm. You should have upgraded back on black Friday when the 9700k was $299 at best buy.
