As a Brooks fanatic, they don't! 🤣 I'd like to hear from someone who has worn both as well. I think, in general, most runners are brand loyal.

Are these comfortable to stand on all day? I have hokas for the past 4 month and those are really comfy. Anyone know how those two compare to each other? TIA

I wear these for running. They have a nice bouncy sole for comfort

Highlights I like -
*Roomy toe box, so my fingers are not squished together
*Shoe is shaped as your feet for max comfort
*Small tongue
*Good for people who pronate or supinate, as it has flat sole with good support throughout the feet

Don't likes -
*Lace are too long, probably for double tie
*Heel notch is small

Ordered a pair, they kind of look like my Hola Clifftons. I run forefoot but I don't know much else, can anyone tell me if these would be good for a forefoot runner?

I like the Ghost for value and comfort. It's the right amount of weight and balance for my feet.

So... My running shoe journey has been interesting. I started off in the Merrell Trail Gloves and switched to the Vibram Five Fingers. After an injury, I switched to the Brooks Ravenna 8s. Loved them, went through two pair... Then the Ravenna 9s released. Horrible shoes so I had to look for a new brand. A friend recommended Altra due to the zero drop. Switched over to them and have run a marathon, a half marathon or two, and a 25K in them. Fantastic shoes and switching between the different series hasn't been too difficult. I've purchased their Escalante 1.5 shoes and their Escalante Racers. Both have been great.

I'm a mid-forefront runner. The Altra shoes have been great. NOt sure on this model but others work great for your kind of running.

I agree with your Ravenna comments. My first intro to Brooks, loved them! Then they became less balanced and supportive. The Ghosts to me are what the Ravennas used to be.I would give the Altras a shot based on your reviews. They aren't bad-looking shoes.

Yeah, I loved the Ravenna's at the beginning. When I switched to the 9s, they jacked my feet up so bad. I could barely walk after some of my runs because of the shoes. I've lived and learned... Now I try to buy an extra couple of pairs when I find a shoe I like.
