Great price, not sure why people are complaining about them being refurbished. Ever wonder how many mouths a fork at a restaurant has been in? Has that stopped anyone from eating out?

As someone that purchased this last time, I would HIGHLY AVOID. I returned for a refund. Believe the reviews everyone. Here's the problems I experienced:

1) Audio would cut out and skip periodically.
2) The left earbud would unpair for whatever reason the next time you use it and you would have to go through the entire pairing process all over again just to get the left earbud one to work.
3) Sound is subpar.

I love the control functions on this time but it's a shame that these earbuds didn't work properly. You can find many better off-brand headphones on Amazon.
Phone works on only right bud. Not a defect

Does this mean these were in someone elses 👂 ear canal? Disgusting. No deal is a slick deal for used ear phones, no offense.

For what these cost the companies to manufacture (<$1-2, if that), they should just toss these things if they are returned.

You don't sell used/refurbed ear buds, that's trash, literal trash.

"Even" $0 isn't even slick, nothing slick about used/refurbed earbuds. Groddy, big time.

If you are buying refurbed earbuds, that's sad... only on SD.

*EDIT* Am I missing something? Does refurb mean something other than used, i.e., been in someone else's groddy ears?
If you ever kissed someone in the mouth, you have exposed yourself many times worse than what an ear can do to you. lol

Sound is not the best, and BT range is not the best (at least when paired with my garmin running watch) but these work well for me when running long distances and they dont ever feel like they are going to fall out of my ears. I think they were worth the $30.

You can also put 1 in and use for conference calls. Has allowed me to work while working out a few times.
I have a Fenix 6 and the only head phones I get a solid connection with is wired Bluetooth ones. Individual buds cut in and out some (Jabra Elite 75 Actives). Just enough to be annoying.

Great value for $30 + free shipping + no tax, but not worth $119.95. Bought as backup, gave thumbs up for a pretty slick deal. Some of the expectations on here for $30 is insane. If they work and stay in your ear then you got what you paid for. These are superior than that.

Yes. You're missing something.

Refurbished earpieces don't come with the used buds. They ship newly-packaged and sealed. I guarantee you the main bits are wiped off and sanitized completely, but even if they weren't, nothing that has come into contact with the inside of anyone else's ear would ever ship to a customer, even refurbished, from an established company.

Not that earwax is traditionally a huge vector for viruses or anything, but can you imagine the liability if even a handful of customers got ear infections from reusing some rando's earbuds? It'd be catastrophic. They're not going to risk that over a 2c piece of rubber.

I put them in my ear. But not if there were in your ears, not even if you gave them to me for free. Lol. No offense against your ears or other SDers ears.

MEPS (US military entrance) sends tons of people to get their ears cleaned. I wouldn't wear a sweater someone else wore, obviously my standards aren't going to be lower for in-ear earbuds, but that's just me.

I don't believe I have to explain this but everyone has their own sanitary standards, I guess.

It's great there is a market for "refurb" in-ear earbuds, I guess. Better then making it in a landfill, but I wouldn't - not for free. I don't know why it's that strange, but that's great that your willing to buy second hand in-ear earbuds, your saving the environment, power to you!
So, you've never stayed in hotel or bought used car?

On the contrary, doesn't it literally make it "slick" with earwax? Smh

I've been looking at raycon too. Any tried these yet? Refurb is usually a risk but price is right.

I'm in for a pair. Refurb doesn't scare me from a reputable brand. Currently using refurbed PowerBeats from a Best Buy deal 4 years ago. Still working, but ready to go full wireless.

I bought one from last sale. It sounds bad. When you use for the phone call, you can only hear from the right ear. I thought it was broken. I contact the seller and they explain that it is the way it was designed. (mono mode).
I don't want to go through trouble to return it. Just use it to listen to the news at work in the morning.
Just bought another set from Amazon for the same price but so much nicer. Just want to share. Good luck

This is just trolling.

A simple, "I'm afraid because I think it's unsanitary would suffice". Even though it has NOTHING to do with the product.

If you have an honest opinion, fine.

But your post has nothing to do with the product.

What credentials do you hold to make claims on what is sanitary or not?

Also, your post is condescending and utterly ridiculous.

I'm sure many times in your life, you've been exposed to things outside of your control.

I got a sealed record from Amazon the other day. It had a red stain and residue, that looked like blood underneath the plastic shrink wrap. I DEALT with it. I sprayed a disinfectant on it. Washed my hands and moved on.

The clothing you bought from a store has probably been handled by at least a few people, plus whoever tried it on before you got there.

Being self-righteous is unbecoming, especially in the current environment we live in.

Shame on you.
Seriously?
Complaining about a long, self-righteous post with another long, self-righteous post?
