For what these cost the companies to manufacture (<$1-2, if that), they should just toss these things if they are returned.
You don't sell used/refurbed ear buds, that's trash, literal trash.
"Even" $0 isn't even slick, nothing slick about used/refurbed earbuds. Groddy, big time.
If you are buying refurbed earbuds, that's sad... only on SD.
*EDIT* Am I missing something? Does refurb mean something other than used, i.e., been in someone else's groddy ears?
* For fitness oriented headphones, sound quality is pretty good. Beats Powerpros would be better for more bass (something desirable in gym headphones) but overall it ain't bad. Per rtings it's comparable to Jaybirds.
* The stupid touchpad on the right ear control scheme is really bad. I find myself accidentally pausing or skipping or turning them on quite often. And also they are a pain in the ass to turn off - supposed to be a long press but it's about 50/50 on turning off vs going into pairing mode.
* Comfort is meh. I can last a gym session up to about 90 min or so before it starts pinching the top of my ear, but also how it sits in my ear is not fantastic. On the bright side, these things won't come off during even the most rigorous of exercise.
* Durability - The weak point of my model is a thinner cable, but I've had them for nearly 2 years so far and only in the past week or so my left (slave - as far as i can tell) channel is sounding weaker than the right (master). Not saying it's broken yet, but maybe. Still 2 years of being beat on quite regularly for $30, I'm quite impressed they made it this far.
* Battery - would be different on these since they are not tied together like mine, but I find myself needing to recharge every 3 or so gym sessions, which seems in line with the ~5 hours of quoted play time.
