I've had these for a month now and also got the anker liberty air2 and was surprised to see that these didn't sound that much worse for the huge price difference. As I use them for casual listening (mainly podcasts) and occasional music it was a no brained to return the ankers.

The ankers definitely have better controls imo and the app they have is pretty good.

I've had several occasions where I put these back on in the charging case and 1 ear bud will remain connect to Bluetooth and i have to go back and take it out and put it back in before it disconnects and starts charging
This is actually the rebrand of QCY T5 which is one of the best budget earbuds under 25 bucks by multiple reviewers including scarbir.com. Another feature is that it has master slave switch or dual mode so you can switch left bud, right bud or both freely without reconnecting.

Edit: aukey version does not have gaming mode though. It's a no brainer if you're on a budget.
If you're outside and walking I've had people say they can not hear me. So pretty bad with any minor wind noise. In door it's just fine and haven't had anyone mention anything

The sound quality usually drops when the mic is being used for wireless headphones/earbuds. Is that the case in this? Thanks!

As I've never been on the other end I can't really say. I'm sure it's not super high quality for the price so don't expect amazing quality.

The earbud controls are pretty finicky on these.
