Extreme YMMV, this clearance is specifically for black Nova 7X as I've tried other colors and they were regular price.

You can get the non nova version (7X+) on eBay used for about the same price if you can't get it at this price.

....I went to check at my nearest Target (30043).... was there a big sale or something? The entire gaming section was picked almost down to the shelves. Gave me flashbacks.

yeah i got my nova 5p for like $30-$40 "open box" a year ago on ebay. Still works perfectly fine right now. I guess headphone value depreciated when used

I can't tell what they're doing either, I went to 3 stores over the past week'ish, and the gaming/electronics and toys aisles all seemed to be clearanced out and empty. The rest of the store was fine? Not sure if it was a reset, shrinking the dept, or something else.

my hearing is probably shot but ive tried so many gaming headsets wired & wireless, and $-$$$ and they literally all sound the same to me. i actually prefer these janky sub $10 earbuds that i got from temu believe it or not and windows sonic over atmos and dts:x for headphones.

Curious if there is some sort of turnover happening leading into the Christmas stretch and getting shelf space together for it.

Definitely could be, but unless electronics are struggling, it seems like a big category they wouldn't want to lose. Especially black Friday, they usually have some solid deals on electronics that actually get people in the stores. Maybe it's just not the market/crowd for what they're targeting?

I know they stopped selling 4k uhd/Blu Ray/DVD movies a while back, and while the electronics section is getting gutted they seem to be doubling down on the cheap "junk" accessories and licensed merchandise within that same department.

These steelseries install so much bloatware on your pc. I will never trust them again.
