GUI isn't very refined, but for something that can handle Dolby Vision without having to switch settings with each disc (like I've heard some Sony's have to), I'm happy with it. I haven't tried the "smart features" of YouTube and Netflix, as my personal preference is to use the tv's built in apps.
For this price, if you need a 4k player to pair with all of the great UHD disc deals here on SD, I don't think you can do better in this price range.

Am I going to watch Region B Blu Ray?

It is as no frills as it gets but has everything you need for 4k Blu-Ray play.
2 HDMI outs, auto sensing Dolby Vision (unlike the Sony), fast load and play.
I had a few hiccups but nothing more then I had with my Xbox One X. Everything pretty much played on it.
The remote is garbage and you have to point it almost directly in front of it to get it register.
The UI is barebones, no codec info, etc. It is also too long.
I'd say this is a great deal. I'd prefer the Sony 800 but that never drops in price and the feature set is similar.
