Yep, that's its best price yet alright. A bit too saccharine/twee of a game for me but one of my kids looks back on his time with it fondly after having played the PS3 original. He's not really into (J)RPGs generally tho.

Have the numerous bugs/crashes been fixed yet? If so, this would actually be a good price to jump in. I have the PS3 version and got through a few hours and liked it, but I think the portable factor would make it more appealing for me.

Back in the day, I was playing games as early as 4-5 (Pokemon, Zelda, etc.). If your kids likes animated films like Disney or the Studio Ghibli series, they will like this.

My daughter starting playing it at 5 because she'd watch us and wanted to join in. Over the next couple of years she'd drift back in and out of it but ended up finishing the game with some help from us. There's a cut scene near the beginning that's pretty sad and upset her a little, but otherwise it's a cute game, even if the fighting is simple and very repetitive.

That...is a good question. Damn it lol. I also partly want to get my wife into playing PS4. She loves the Switch but there is a world of games on PS4 she could play too lol. Shes a Pokemon fan so I figured this game would appeal.

Sounds like she'd love Ni no Kuni haha. Maybe this is the game to get her into playing on the PS4.
