These are $25 and on clearance as well if you can find them in store.

True, but for "atmosphere" on the deck or patio, it's hard to beat incandescent.

Why would anyone want bright LED bulbs on their patio? Head to the Google machine and clue yourself in.

LED does not = bright

A certain site named after a river has minetom commercial grade 48' strands for $35. Plastic Edison bulbs instead of glass. Bulbs spaced every 3 feet instead of every one though, and I know many prefer the closer bulbs for smaller spaces.

Why would you assume LED automatically means bright? You can get low lumen 2700k LEDs which does the job better than incandescent. Best to take your own advice and clue yourself in.

Modern LED bulbs can provide you the same atmosphere.

I just bought similar lights and they cost me $30 for 48ft and came with LED bulbs. I would always go with LED considering the price is pretty much the same and you will save a large amount of money long term if you use them frequently. LED bulbs should also outlast incandescent bulbs. Some people have mentioned that incandescent lights produce a better ambience, however you can reproduce the same thing with LEDs, look for soft white or warm white color temperatures.
