seems like a price mistake, if true. That 8 qt goes for $300-$400 at most places.
I don't think it was a price mistake. Everything in the home department had red tags. There were about 15 Le Creuset products remaining. I added a pic of one of my receipts.

Seems almost like a scam to get people into the store....the two in Denver (Littleton/Sheridan) were practically empty. I've never seen shelves that empty ever at any store. Felt like like only 1000 items in the entire store. No cookware/utinsels/kitchen accessories what so ever
We stopped by our local store and they had no Le Creuset anything left. I had actually called in the morning and they had one 5 qt Dutch oven but they wouldn't hold it and by the time we got there it was gone.
There is one at my Burlington Coat factory in San Jose. But it's in 4.25 qt and the price tag says $149. There is a 25% off all cookware discount, so that brings it down a bit. But still nowhere near the deal OP posted. It's obviously extreme YMMV.
Update: after looking around another 5 minutes, I found an 8 quart oval with a price tag of $169. The 25% off all cookware brought it down to $135. Note quite as good a deal as the one OP saw and I'm not crazy about the mustard yellow color, but I took it. I was looking for a Dutch oven and didn't want something made in China, but also didn't want to pay however much it is that Le Creuset normally costs. What matters is that it's likely cheaper than the outlet, which I didn't want to drive all the way too, so I'm good with this.
Retail just opened back up in California and a lot of stuff at discount retailers (Ross/Burlington) just flew off the shelves. The houseware section at a local Ross looked only about 15-20% full with merchandise. It looked like a going out of business sale. I asked one of the employees if they had taken everything off the shelves during lockdown: Nope. Everything was full and then everyone bought everything up the first few days of opening. Crazy.
Thanks OP for the alert! I wouldn't have gone to my local Burlington if I didn't see your post.
The Burlington in Silver Spring, MD had 2 of the oval 8QT in Palm for $179.99. All Home was 25% off but for some reason the Le Creuset was excluded. But they did a manual override and it came down to $134.99. Still a really great deal.

Not a scam. I saw people walking out of Ross, Burlington and TJ Maxx with 2 carts full of stuff. People are clearing the shelves.
