I have both the AA light (this deal) and the larger more expensive rechargeable cousin (mentioned in this forum above). I really like both of them, but this light has a few perks being it is AA (you can find everywhere and most Slickdeal people should have rechargeable Eneloop like AA batteries.) You can pop batteries in immediately as opposed to waiting for it to charge. Second, this light fits in my pocket better and I take it around with me. I was doing that a lot and like having the light until I forgot it in my pocket. It did not take the washing machine well at all. It is water resistant but the cap came off in the washer. I got me another one when it came on sale. It is nice light to get into tight spaces like working on vehicle or changing the belts on a zero turn lawnmower. The magnet holds very well to the metal and the quality of the light makes things easier to see. The larger cousin with the rechargeable battery works, but its length does not work as well with the strength of its magnet. Knocked it off more than the smaller one. For those interested in the rechargeable versions, the basic kit comes with an USB cable which you plug the entire unit to charge the light. There are some kits with a dummy charger where you can charge the battery separately from the light. You see this charger in kits with two batteries. Or you can purchase the charger separately.
FYI it seems like this model uses two AA batteries, i.e. it's not rechargeable out of the box.

I got this in one of the other lighting deal bundles. Surprisingly handy to have a rechargeable magnetic light. I hang it from a rod in my closet so I can get dressed in the dark but have already used it to do some fridge repair as well. Kids also like playing with it.

If you have a light, doesn't that mean you are not in the dark?

Touche. When it's dark!

And if it's not the rechargeable USB one then I would recommend it less.

it looks like this is the version that has rechargeable battery. this ones description is confusing as it mentioned charging cables but its run off batteries. even if you look at the questions in the reviews.

its not on sale and its $59.97

"bUt i gOt a DoZeN 10,000-LuMeN LiGhTs fOr FiVe DoLLaRs oN aMaZoN!"

These have a CRI of 85, and have a limited lifetime warranty. They're also well built and durable, and I've taken mine camping and on work contracts all over the US with zero issues. I have four from the last $20 sale, and I'll be buying some more as gifts.

Then again, I don't buy gas station pocket knives either, so...
