Just read a news release when I was trying to find some product info:

June 16th, 2020

Guangzhou Powecom Labor Insurance Supplies Co., Ltd appoints www.bonafidemasks.com , a division of Ball Chain Mfg. Co., Inc. as the new premier distributor for our FDA Authorized KN95 mask products in the USA.

News link:

Shopping link:
https://bonafidemasks.com/Powecom-kn-95/

FDA Appendix A: Authorized Imported, Non-NIOSH Approved Respirators Manufactured in China (Updated: June 17, 2020) [fda.gov]

The unit price isn't cheap: $2.4 each and shipping fee is kind of high: around $14 per order via UPS ground, although you can order more to cut down both unit price and shipping cost per unit.

However, this may be the first time we know we can get a quality KN95 on FDA authorization list from a trustful vendor which is endorsed by manufacturer.

Not sure what the production date is since I haven't opened it yet but I ordered it on June 4.

And I would think that seller would have new inventory with the sticker by now but if their listing pictures are up to date, they still don't have it.
Lots of sellers still have older inventory especially since it takes time to ship from overseas. If you ordered on June 4th you could easily have something that was made in April. (If you do open it, there will be a little slip of paper inside with the production date.) I ordered some from New England Hydroponics in June right before Bona Fide masks starting selling these--their website is very clear that the product they have was made in April so there is no sticker on the package.

True. I guess we'll have to see if that eBay seller eventually has the new packaging with the stickers.

please let us know when you use the headband version, curious if the seal is better than earloop.
I got my headstrap ones today.

Compared to Powecom Bonafide earloop:

The mask material and size seems the same--there is a more substantial nose piece. It is still green but is wider. Without bending nose piece my glasses do not fog like they do on other earlops. I need to do some adjusting but plan on using these in high risk situations until I can get some n95.

GB2626-2006 number on mask
upc 6955984500142

Powecom anti fake label sticker on seal on bottom

Manufacturer Guangzhou Powecom Labor Insurance

Do not see any obvious spelling grammar errors on bag

I have not worn any n95 or know as much about these as other posters. I have gotten 4 separate types of these kn95 and these seal best for my face on initial evaluation.

All my kn95 are better than the surgical masks I have acquired. I figure this is going to be a long haul so I use surgical for quick trips like getting gas, surgical with cloth filter mask for grocery trips, the kn95 for longer more risky trips like when I had to go to dentist for crown. These headstrap will be used to go to gym if they clean up their act(masks are mandated but they do not enforce it and lunkheads ignore rules).

What's the best way to sterilize these masks. I haven't worn them out expect for walking and trying it on in the home.

Thanks for the review on the headband Powecoms.

Do the elastic bands seem to be different than the ear loops?

Good to hear about the thicker nose bands as I thought the ear loop nose metal bands were a bit thin and couldn't shape as well.

I keep each of mine in an air tight bag (paper bag recommended from what I've read) and keep them on a rotation so each mask sits at least 72 hrs before use again.

Some people use heat,UV, hydrogen peroxide vapors, etc but that's too much work for me lol. 72 hrs on any surface should be enough to kill the virus is it's on the mask.

There's a whole site dedicated to it called n95decon.

The metal bands on the ear loops were awful, they don't form at all when bent. I had to use tape on those otherwise the mask wouldn't seal, I would just feel my breathe shoot up my left eye. Getting my headband ones Monday.

Thank you, does the 95% filtration get lower at all from use?

Yes, these were all designed to be one time use and disposed of. The amount of decrease depends on many factors including temperature, humidity, and of course the cathing of particles over time. If you're not in a hospital with all kinds of stuff floating around the general belief is that repeated sanitized use within reason is ok. Some say to dispose of after 6-10 hours, some say up to 3-4 days, & some a month. I wouldn't do a month personally unless I used it 15 minutes a day. The electrostatic effect will definitely weaken perhaps even after 8 hours.

Definitely dispose of it if it's visibly damaged, soiled, or you find it harder to breathe through after a certain amount of use. That's the general guideline for the reusable P100 filtering cartridges for example.

Elastic bands on both Powecoms seem same but they are wider than Snowjoes and surgical. Elastic bands and ear loops are wider on Powecoms and Aurora. Nose pieces are wider on Snowjoes and Aurora earloops and Powecom ear straps. New Aurora supposedly has outer aluminum nose piece but I do not have those in yet.

The wider the elastic bands(earloop or headband) and wider the nose pieces the better the fit on my head. In my use the best nose seal are Powecom headstrap and Aurora ear loop based on fogging of glasses.

FWIW I've worn a 3M N95 down here in S. FL for 3+ hours at a time on multiple occasions, and it wasn't bad (other than making me sweat a little). My only reason for bringing this up is to take issue with the idea that the legit N95s are SO much better than the Powecom KN95s (headband-style) in terms of being harder to breathe through. I don't actually notice a difference in that respect. Kudos to you and others for masking up regardless!
I can confirm. I received my Powecom face mask today. Compared to my 3M mask, Powecom is thinner. The seal is not tight enough. Even if I use my hand to seal entire edge, I can breath easier than 3M. I don't know if easier to breath affect the filtering capability.

Not at all. I had a 2-pack (now 1 remaining) from a sanding project when this whole thing started...
