FYI I purchased this chair before it went on sale and returned it the next day. It's sturdy and mostly good quality with great adjustments. But if you really need lumbar support and/or want manual tension control and a good recline angle...you may be disappointed.

The "mesh" tension lumbar support is non-existent and really didn't promote a good posture, the backrest actually pivots slightly when you lean back on it (some may like it or want that but I personally don't) and the chair automatically adjusts tilt tension based on user's weight. Guess my fat ass of 186 lbs made the tension really light when reclining which I also don't like. I prefer a more firm/strong tension when I recline in the chair.

This is one user's experience with this particular chair and just my $0.02. After that I went and purchased a used but in great condition Steelcase Leap V2 and Haworth Zody chairs for a combined cost of $220. Couldn't be happier though I think I prefer the Leap and may eventually keep that one for good.

I have a very bony butt. I have had this chair at work for 4 years now and it feels great. Cushion is on the firm side. Not so plush. On cheaper chairs I will start to feel the solid support against my bones after an hour of sitting, not with this one. I am glad to add one to my home. Hope that helps.

I have Allsteel Acuity chairs at my workplace, and I pretty much sit in one all day with no issues. That chair is really comfortable and has a lot of adaptability.

I bought one of the Relate chairs for my WFH setup due to COVID. I hope that it's close to the quality and comfort of the Acuity.
It's reassuring to know I can return it to my nearby Staples if it doesn't work out.
