Most powerful laptop on the market for $1400, that I'm aware of. Pretty good machine overall too. Very recent review:

I found this review below. Overall I think it's the same principle. This a refresh of the 2019 model with an RTX 2070 vs 2060.

Now do I pull the trigger on this one or the Costco 2060.

Thanks!

I'm in the same boat. Have had the Costco one bookmarked waiting for the sale. Extra hard drive would be nice. Screens are a trade off for size/weight vs portability.

It's tough!

This is a pretty decent deal. The only one close to it is the one for the Sager:
https://slickdeals.net/f/14016197-sager-np8458f2-s-clevo-pb51df2-144hz-nvidia-rtx-2070-super-8gb-10th-gen-intel-core-i7-10875h-8-core-1-488-67-no-tax-for-many-via-gentech-pc

Trade-offs:
This one has a lower power processor (i7-10875H vs i7-10750H)
This one comes with an OS, vs the other (+$80 for Win10 Home)
This one's base RAM config is 8x2, whereas the other one is 16x1 (which is slightly worst, no dual channel)
This is is per-key RGB, the other is is just whole keyboard RGB

I think i'm going to bite the bullet on this one. 2070 gets about 30% more performance compared to the 2060 and this one is only 16% more so not a bad jump in performance. Plus I would prefer the smaller size as well. 17" would mean it nevers moves from my desk. LOL

I'm also looking pretty hard at some Eluktronics that I've seen mentioned on Reddit.

For the size difference, I commute with a bike as much as possible and could only fit a 15 in my rear rack bags. But also do photo/video editing so an extra hard drive would be SO nice! On a desk it'll have an external monitor, but that 30% more graphics performance is no joke!

At this point I'm about ready to flip a coin and just let random chance make the decision for me. LMAO

I currently have this laptop and am comparing it against the razer blade pro 17 with the 2060. This blows the razer blade out of the water in terms of performance. Both have mediocre battery life. If you're looking to game... this is a great price.

Do they make this in a 17"? I almost never bring my laptop anywhere from my desk besides maybe the couch once in a while. So I'd prefer the extra screen real estate. Am seriously thinking about the new XPS 17" but despite that being a great looking device, this should be more powerful with the 2070.

Here is the GP75 for $200 more as it comes with the 17" 240Hz screen. The company I linked also has some free upgrades as well.

It's too bad it's only 1080p for the monitor. I mean, you'll max out games for the most part at 1080, and if you hook it up to a qhd monitor, you'll have some good results - maybe 80-120fps depending on the game at 1440.

It seems like a great price - if not a bit overkill for gaming as a laptop on the go.
