These are junk, 6mths old and died. Customer service is in India and the worst I have ever had to experience when dealing with a warranty claim. Makes a great gift for someone you hate

I just ordered one myself based on all the other reviews on Target's website. But again, just dont take my word for it, there are 1019 others....

I actually just bought this a few weeks ago for full price. Was in need of a microwave. My 9 year old one finally died. Did some research and this one came recommended. I happen to notice the price drop at Best Buy and was refunded the difference. At $99 it's a no brainer. Nice size, wattage, digital and looks nice. The sounds are a bonus too. 😊. I mean Walmart wants $80 for something similar with poor reviews. LG has always been known for quality stuff. Spend the extra $20-$30. Highly recommend at this price.

TU in for one!

I was actually eyeing the 1.5 cu ft version of the same LG microwave, and wanted to buy that during the Best Buy open box sale (but BB only allowed open box 50% off sale for large appliances).

Just checked my existing microwave, and it's a cheapy 900 watt Emerson 0.7 cu ft... so this LG 0.9 cu ft actually works better than the 1.5 cu ft for my counter space.

Dad needs to replace his 1988 GE Spacemaker II. Considering the cheapo .9 cu.ft. Insignia at BB. Anyone have experience with it? He doesn't need anything fancy. I think he just reheats stuff with it.
I considered the LG but I think the panel/controls would flummox him. He doesn't like change.

Yeah I did the Toshiba EM131A5C-SS Microwave Oven

It's on Amazon. It was 106$ last week. It's now at 120$.keeps going up and and down. It's really good

I have had this for almost a year now, and it works great. I never had to contact LG for repair so cant say how they handle appliance repairs.

I did have to contact lg for a monitor repair, which was a pretty bad experience.

This is one of the narrowest microwaves larger than 0.7cu ft which is unfortunate for me because it's one of the only ones that fits in the hole in my cupboards. It's unfortunate because I had this one die 13 months in (out of warranty) and I replaced it with this same. Now the new one is sounding a bit suspect. I like the microwave, it works great, I even like the UI but I'm not really liking the longevity.
