Garmin Forerunner 235
Same price at multiple other retailers.
This watch is at least 1, if not 2 generations old. Released 5 years ago anyway. With the other options out there, including from Garmin, I'm not sure I'd bother with this one.
235 vs 245 review (there is also a 245 version with build in music storage)

And, yeah, the Forerunner 245 is slightly thinner, slightly lighter, and can play music, but it is also costs $300. For less than half the price, I will "settle" for a 235.
But ...
The newer watches have a newer chipset and software to measure more health and running info.
Not even the 245 and 645 are fully up to date with the latest bio-info I think?
For people who want the cutting edge results, the unfortunately expensive fénix 6 and 945 are the thing.
I hope that the 2xx and 6xx watch lines will be updated as well. They're cheaper since they're less Ironman friendly and don't show mapped routes etc.
Someone did a great google spreadsheet showing exactly what watch does what.
I think the spreadsheet is here:

If you want a not-expensive running or fitness watch that's v reliable, the 235 is great.
Is this a good price? No idea. (I'm saving for one of the newer ones.)
