Very good deal on a Garmin MARQ Watch, advertised as a Golf watch but can do everything a Fenix or a Forerunner can do

Great price on that watch. My buddy has it and won't stop talking about it. It is not for everyone... He is an avid golfer (3-4 times a week). It is pretty slick, but at that price point a very select/target audience.

Me, I will stick to my Fenix 5x plus

I have a Fenix 6 pro, but I love the look of this one, my favorite in the MARQ line, but wouldn't use the leather strap for running

I missed the deal on the GArmin S60, which I wanted for golf.
Would it be better to get a Fenix? Assuming the fenix has the same features as S60?

This is a nice watch, but quite pricy for a smart watch.

I never used the golf features of the Fenix, but I think it has all the same features and more. I've seen the 5 plus for 350-400

They are pricey but once you get used to the 2 weeks battery life it's hard to get back to a watch you need to charge everyday

I just picked up 6X Sapphire, which I upgraded from 5X Plus. I've always wanted MARQ since it was introduced, but the price was out of my range starting at $1500. I think I'll pull the trigger on this. Repped.

What can this do that the Fenix 6 can't? You can always buy a leather strap for your Fenix if that's what you want...

This is the same as the fénix 6 pro. At this price there is not much difference.

Aside from having a full titanium body, not so much. Don't get me wrong, I owned number for Fenix watches over the years and I absolutely love them all. It's about the same price as the Titanium version of Fenix 6X which is still made with fiber-reinforced polymer case. I believe this one comes with a normal silicone band also.

Don't waste your money if you purchase this watch for golf. I purchased this watch when it was on sale last time and also purchased the S60 for golfing. It has touch screen so using it for golf is the way to go and very convenient.

I actually dislike touch screen on watch, but then it's personal preference.

My wife used to find buttons on the Forerunner and my Fenix to be too complicated while she's on Vivoactive 4, but then she eventually started to like buttons.

S60 is my to go for golf only. I used the touchscreen features on every hole to check layups and to change pin locations for more accurate distance. I have 3 other garmin watches with buttons and S60 the way to go for golfing addict like me. I like it so much I purchased one for my golfing buddy

Quite the endorsement for the S60 for golf. I have been using a rangefinder for 10+years. I trust it. I am hoping to ditch the rangefinder and use the S60 only. Does the S60 factor in slope and most importantly, do you trust it?

Unfortunately, I dont think the S60 give you the slope factor and probably any smart watch would give you this. It's pretty accurate for le that I rarely use my rangefinder. I use it sometimes on par 3s just to compare the S60 but it's pretty close as long as you can approximate the pin location on your S60

You didn't miss out. The S60 is not as accurate as the s20. I have both and found myself going back to the s20 on familiar courses. The only thing better on s60 is hidden hole location and a live view of course. My club trackers often fail with s60
