I would wait to speak with the reps tomorrow because honestly, they may not be fully informed at the moment. I don't believe what you were told is accurate.
I suspect you may have to port in another line. Tha's OK with me because I have an Xfinity line that has unlimited calls and text and I only pay for taxes and data--I use no data on that phone and pay about $3 / month.

It's my ported original house land line and it's not a bad deal, but if I can get data free, that would be better.

I'm on Sprint with 4 lines. Would I qualify for a free voice only line for my grandmother?

Does a Voice line include any data? If so, how many GBs?

The new line would offer the exact same services as your other phones for that plan.

I still have those 2 free lines from years ago on the simple choice plan. If this is completely free, it's gonna be crazy

No, you cannot. It would void the promotion. You'd have to keep all lines active for a certain period of time. It may be a year. Not 100% sure at the moment.

I think the scariest part of this kind of deal is to have subscribers locked on having 4+ lines and later (2-3 yrs later) force them to pay extra $$$.

What would happen if you cancelled a line Within the new promotion?

I wish there was data on this. Most likely you will have to pay taxes and fees for the "free" line.
The "voice line" is a designation vs. a tablet line or a smart watch line. So it's a regular phone line and will get the same data and features as you have on your other lines of your existing account. At least that's my understanding.

Why did they take it away I have business discount for some years now. Are they no longer giving those discounts?
No idea why, but this is what they claim

Tmobile took my corporate discount away last month after having it for years with simple choice 4 lines for $100. I'm so pissed
Was it completely out of the blue? Did anything trigger it? I'm thinking I shouldn't try to add this free line if it might make that happen.

For existing customer, can I make my existing 3rd line free with this promotion? (instead of adding one new line)
Thanks

I cancelled 2 lines from my family plan not long ago.
Was told I won't qualify for any promotions for a period of time (forgot if 2 or 3 months, anyone knows?).
I guess I can't take advantage of this promo then...

I think u can just add that line back to qualify for the free line. Worth it? Since this free line is lifetime

If I have an old "Line On Us" promotion on my account, will they give me another free line with this promotion?
