I signed up for T-Mobile like a week late in 2017 when they had the 3 lines for $100 (was debating losing my unlimited data at AT&T), what a bad choice and have been waiting for something like this to return for a while, hopefully I am able to get that 3rd line for free although I am reading somewhere that the type of plan is not included..

I have 8 lines on TMO ONE :

We basically pay first 4 lines =$140+other 4 lines =$80 totalling $220 ($200 after kickbacks on my parents 2 lines).

How can I switch out one of the 4 'other' paying lines to a free add a line to reduce my bill by $20 without losing an individual phone number?

Almost certain that you would lose the promo if you cancel another line; at least that's what I've been told in the past. I don't see why it would, but I can't personally cancel any as my only two paid lines are the main two lines on the account. You might find someone willing to d some swapping, but it wouldn't be easy and may create more of a mess than you'd like.

Which promo? Kickback?
Cause I am not on any other promotion.

Can this stack with iPhone on US trade-in? Is that gift card through Costco?

This promotion for the free line. They want to discourage what you are wanting to do, so it isn't something that is really done. I've personally had it done.. but it was more of a side effect, and it took years to fix my account to where it was supposed to be with all the promos that were messed up.

"This offer is stackable with all previous free lines promos. Stackable with all device offers as well."

Per reddit thread:https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/...ine_for_a/

Does that mean I can partake in any phone deals while adding this free line?
