Unfortunately my grandfathered plan (Preferred FT 600 NW) is not eligible for this promo. Thanks for posting this deal!

I'm in the same boat and I did a chat with agent, and was told that I had to add a new line to get this new free line.
I got a very quick reply from Twitter just now, again my situation is I have 2 paid lines and 3 free ones from past promos, on the Simple Choice NA plan.

"Thanks so much for your patience this morning. Looking over your account it looks like you are on a promo plan currently that would not qualify. In order to qualify for the free line, we would need to update you to a newer plan, which even with a free line, would be more than just adding a line to your current account. Sorry for the bad news"

I used the T-Mobile app on my iPhone and chat feature. Confirmed that I got one free line because I already had two. I also have one "this one on us" promo line previously. I did not lose it. Only had to pay $30 ($10 for the SIM card and then $20 for the activation)

I see you can trade in an iPhone 8 for $700 credit towards a iPhone 11, could you buy the $99 iPhone 8 from Sprint deal and trade that in when adding a line?

If it's like previous promotions, odds are you are going to need to pay at least a few bucks a month in taxes and fees (e.g 911), unless you happen to be on a plan that covers this (which means you are paying a lot more than grandfathered SC people regardless).

I have the tmobile one buy 2 get 1 line free

This is the message I got.

Thank you for knocking that out for me! I took a moment to look at your current plan, and I can see that you have three lines already active. This plan wouldn't actually support more than three lines, but we do have some options for you. Smilie We could move you to the Magenta plan, which is actually the same cost for three lines. From there, we could add an additional line for free. You wouldn't lose anything that you have with your current plan! The only downside is that the rate would be more expensive if you were to ever go back to 2 lines, but the four line rate will be exactly the same (With the free line). Let em know if that all makes sense!

How is the magenta plan different? Should I do it?
Not too much, ONE seems a littlle better depending on your situation

So did you have 3 lines before and added a 4th or have 2 before and added a 3rd now?

I'll call later but I doubt my plan will be eligible. It's a grandfathered plan, the 4 lines for $100, only $10/line after that. We have 8 lines on our plan lol.
