This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Here's a short summary of what I did for the deal:
- Chat
- Ask to add a free line
- Ask for any phone promotion
- If Rep gives some BS, disconnect chat
- Try again

The second rep gave me everything listed above but I opted for just the free line instead of the iPhone 11 with trade-in.

For reference my account: T-mobile One, 6 lines with 1 Free line, Hook Up, Kickback, One Plus, auto pay discount on all 6 lines including the free line.

With the added new line, I have 7 lines. Paying about $100-120 a month for 7 lines is IMO, decent. Not sure what to do with the 7th lines, maybe use it as a hotspot with an old phone.

Just spoke with a customer service rep and she told me that you can only get a free line if you have 2 lines then you can get a 3rd line for free. I already have more than 2 lines so I don't qualify.

So I wasn't getting anywhere with Twitter (waiting for hours), so I went through the app on my phone and did a call to customer service. Wait time was like a minute at most. Said I wanted to get the new free line and add the iPhone SE (50% off deal). The CSR was very friendly and was aware of both, checked my account and verified I was eligible. I also made sure this wouldn't impact my heavily grandfathered and promo'd up the butt existing plan, and she confirmed nothing would change.

I had to pay full tax (7%) on the phone MSRP ($28), but she waived the activation and SIM charge without me even asking, since I had mentioned I couldn't get Twitter to respond. Very nice of her. Also got free ground shipping on the phone. Signed the EIP and should hopefully get the phone soon. Since I have an SC plan, I still need to pay $3.18/month in taxes/fees for the free line, but that plus the ~$8.50 or so for the iPhone SE means we are getting both for about $11/month more. Even though we don't need the extra voice line now, it's nice to have just in case.

I always get nervous doing any changes on my account as I'm paranoid someone will break something, and I didn't get anything yet showing the free line or iPhone promotion, but the rep seemed pretty knowledgeable so I'm thinking/hoping she did it all correctly. Yay!
Just finished adding a free line and bought the iPhone XS, only sales tax was charged to me. I did mention I have several sim cards already and rep said a sim comes in the box, and she waived all the fees without me asking. I am worried about TMO messing up my account too( on SCNA plan), and I asked twice just to make sure nothing will change on my account by adding the free line and buying the XS won't mess with my current Pixel 3a monthly credit.
Any idea when the free line will show up in my account?

Even if I have no need for a phone, shouldn't I get a One Plus 8 or iPhone SE at half price and then sell it? Can I sell it and still get the bill credits or how does that work? Seems like minimal work to get some money back.

Try the app. I did social media first, no response. App was pretty quick (and painless).

Seems like different reps have different answers, try again.

The rep you spoke to is wrong. As long as you have two paid voice lines and are on an eligible line, you can get the free line. Try another rep through T-Force.

That's weird. That's a lot of upfront charge. I did the same thing with iphone 7 trade in. Got $500 off the iphone 11 and was charged only $43 in taxes. The sim will come with the phone so no extra charge for the SIM and they waived off the activation fee

Youre right. It was a typo.

Charges were 66.50 based off california taxes

So I called in and was able to get the promotion and a sim card shipped out. But I don't see anything on my account.

Those of you who successfully added this, did you receive anything that showed you got the line? Or does it show on your account now?

Ditto. After looking at everything, the "best" deal I can get is switching to ESSENTIALS @ $90+tax/month for 3 lines. But switching out of TMO ONE plan means I lose the following as well:

(1) have to pay taxes (TMO one is included)
(2) no more international data 2G in 210 destinations
(3) no more 4g LTE in mexico/canada
(4) no more gogo-in-flight wifi
I'm not sure if the other plans include it, but you might also be out the 10GB of Hotspot, (supposed) higher threshold before throttling, and free HD Video.

It's been a while since I've compared plans so not sure if these things are included in the newer plans. I just remember some top these things being mentioned in previous deals when people were thinking of changing plans.

I've used the unlimited data in international locations before. It came in very handy, not sure how much I'd use it again (can always be added for your trip time only for a small fee), but it was a nice feature to have.

Based on prior experience, I believe the LINE will show up in your account fairly soon, and likely before it ships (or right after). But the credit is a behind the scene thing which doesn't show up until your bill hits. To my knowledge, there is no evidence of the device or line credit on the website itself, as this would just show regular pricing info. But once the bill is cut, you should see both the device and line credit on it, negating the base line fee (not taxes on SC) and whatever device promo you got.

So yeah, it's a bit of a wait and see game unfortunately.
